before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

or even before your parents start looking for you, or even you start looking for your own spouse, do people actually pray for naik and saleh children/generation??? or is it too much a taboo topic even to think about.

and this concept occurred to me when i was discussing somethings with my father. he is quite old (in his 70) and he asked me and one of my other brother k humeray leya bhi dua kia kero.

so just saying that if you pray now to have a naik-saleh aulaad, so after 30-40 years when you wont be alive, may be one your children or your children’s children pray for you.

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

duhhhhhhhh! OMG SALEH :O that's a bad word. I don't think anyone prays for their children to be saleh roing

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

so at the age of 19 i'm supposed to be praying for children that i won't have for another 10 years? wut? 0_o

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

err ArabJaani saleh is an urdu word for obedient :)

@ the topic : One should always pray for a good spouse and obedient children even before you're married ..it's as if praying for good luck ..so I don't find anything bad in it :S

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

I do... children and the generations after, for good health and to be blessed both in this world and the other . :P:P:P

runs lol

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

Forsure. Your childrens deeds reflect upon you, and when they do good then you get reward for it.

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

nek aur saaleh aulaad means righteous and upright son for daughters the word is saaleha :)

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

I even dont have children but I have always prayed that my children be humble slaves of Allah.

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

Don't mean to be pendantic, but aulaad (awlaad) is plural of boy so for daughters it would be binaat, the plural of children irrespective of sex is aTfaal, also if you are using an adjective do describe a group of between 3-10 you still use the the feminine version of that adjective.

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

In Urdu aulaad is just the colloquial term used to refer to all offspring (sons/daughters).

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

:crying::teary3: Urdu is very hard to write, read, and understand. :frowning:

Re: before getting marrying, engaged, baat pakki

Nothing taboo about praying (hoping for the non-believers) the next generation is better than you in all spheres.
