On my wedding, I had this song by adnan sami “tera chehra” on the back ground… goes like :
Yeh zameen ruk jaaye, aasmaan jhuk jaaye
Tera chehra jab nazar aaye

… it sounded wonderful!

i don’t know what they played on my wedding… i was too nervous and was just concentrating on my lehanga and heels

a live violinist is really romantic, we had one at my sister engagement party a couple of nights abck, it was loved by everyone and different.

Recent wedding we went to, the bride came in first to instrumental only music the music was the song "Mere Rang Meh Rang neh walee" from Maine Pyar Kiya (yeh, I was surprised at that too as it's an old song...but the atmosphere it created was amazing!)
Then a few minutes later, the groom came in and the pace was more upbeat and the song they played was..."Saajan jee ghar ayeh...." These were the two oldest songs they played at the whole wedding...the rest were mostly like 2005/2006 songs........so it really made an impact!

for an "oldies" feel...pehla nasha is realy nice! love it!

Great ideas everyone…:k: I’m gonna play kal ho na ho heartbeat on our Reception.
When the barat arrives I’m playing a short clip of ‘ek kunwara phir gaya mara’ and then switch to ‘Meri zindagi mein aaye ho’ from Armaan…let’s see how it all goes.
