I defrosted beef and I was thinking of making tikka boti, but don’t know how to. How can I make the botis really tender ? What marinade should I use? And since I don’t have seekhein or an outdoor grill, how can I grill them at home in the oven, for how long and on what heat? Help quickly, I don’t want the beef to go bad ![]()
Re: Beef cubes in the fridge
I also want to grill potatos. Should I cut them in half and put them in the marinade ? If I grill them in the oven I am worried that they won't get cooked fully.
Re: Beef cubes in the fridge
I believe you can make tikas on stove top instead of the oven.
But not sure how to. ![]()
Re: Beef cubes in the fridge
You can put meat tenderizer on the tikkas.. or kacha papeeta
marinate them in yogurt, lehsan, adrak, red chilli, salt and corriender powder, vingar..
marinate them for 1 day
and then put them on skewer and bake in oven
Re: Beef cubes in the fridge
Kacha papeeta does wonders in tenderizing, but dont use it too often in your dishes cause you gotta think if it does that to meat what would it do to your poor stomach.
I dont use those powdered tenderizers cause they smell a bit
As for potatoes, wash 'em with skin on, cut each in pour pieces and just place them around the meat and sprinkle with salt, chilli and oregano then place the whole thing in the oven
The marinade from the meat will seep into the potatoes and the whole thing will be cooked tasting so yum.
I like the crispy skin on the potatoes
