Hello friends

I want to decorate my room so first thing is curtains. I have black and grey color furniture. And I have 2 sets of curtains one is teal color and other one is maroon.

  1. So which color will look good?
    2.what to put in corners of bedroom?
  2. I have ash grey walls so what to put on walls?
    4.rug or carpet?and which color?

Ok , firstly awesome color choice. If you want a warm toned room , then go for the maroon curtains. If you want a cool toned room, teal will look fabulous.

any color enhances with grey in the background. Maroon and teal are both very lively colors so both will look awesome. If you choose Maroon, you can use maroon or red rug. Red and grey vases in combination could go in either corners. You could choose lamps in red as well instead of vases.

for the walls, either a darker shade of grey or a lighter shade of grey in some kind of a canvas painting will look fabulous. or you can choose anything that has a shade of red , grey and black , all the three colors in combination , that will totally define the theme of the room.

I would personally go with maroon , but that’s because I live in a cold country and we like to have warm toned homes . Teal is perfect for summery weather countries.

One last thing, Maroon is done to death in home decor. Teal is definitely a different color theme. So if you do plan to go for teal, it will give you a very modern look for your room

Thanks alot for nice advice :slight_smile: do u think I can easily get teal color accessories like rug and vase or lamp?
I also like teal combination but don’t know other things will available in this color or not.
I’m thinking for love seat infront of curtains and decorate that seat with teal color cushion.

Yes you can go for blue toned accessories , they look great ..

Love seat will have to be in grey or black and will surely look good with teal cushion may be add a black or grey cushion as well as teal.
