Supermodel Beauty Tips

When they’re working, supermodels always look amazing, but away from the catwalk they often face just the same skin problems and insecurities as the rest of us.
Here I’ve collected some beauty tips from my favorite models, from 80s supermodel Cindy Crawford to current stars like Gisele. When these beautiful women pass on beauty tips, we should all take notice!
Adriana Lima

Just because you’re a supermodel doesn’t mean you don’t get pimples!
When Adriana Lima gets bad skin, she quickly dabs on a bit of tea tree oil to reduce swelling and fight the bacteria that causes it.
Tea tree is natural and has anti bacterial and anti inflammatory properties, great for zapping those pesky pimples!
**Gisele Bundchen**

This Brazilian beauty often has a “bed hair” look in public. You might think that she accomplishes this with an army of stylists, but that’s not actually the case.
Before sleeping she ties her hair up while it’s still damp, then goes to bed. When she wakes up in the morning it looks nice and wavy, then she just adds a bit of hair serum for a bit of added shine.
**Tyra Banks**
Tyra Banks already has beautiful eyes, but her busy modeling and TV schedule means that sometimes her eyes don’t have the fresh, sexy look that she likes.
To really bring attention to her eyes, she wears white eyeliner on her bottom inner eyelid. This make them appear larger and makes them pop.
Even supermodels will take a little beauty assistance if they can get it!
Kate Moss
This wild child knows how to enjoy her life, and she’s an expert in making herself up for an evening out.
The paparazzi follow her everywhere in London, so what’s her top beauty tip for looking good in front of a camera?
This sultry supermodel reveals “You need impact make-up, smoky eyes. Its always a good look.”
**Cindy Crawford**
The 80s supermodel and mom of two, 41, keeps her complexion fresh by spraying her face with a mist of whole milk and mineral water.
This creates a dewy, fresh-faced effect that lasts all day long!
Here’s a celebrity beauty tip that’s out of reach for most of us - Cindy goes to a Parisian plastic surgeon who injects her skin with vitamins.
According to Cindy, “Pretty much every make-up artist I work with says my skin looks better than it did twelve years ago.”
Karolina Kurkova

Karolina keeps her skin fresh and blemish-free by washing her face with the juice of a fresh lemon.
Lemon juice is both a disinfectant and cleanser. It contains natural citric acids that help sough off dead skin, leaving you with a fresh healthy glow.
To get skin like Karolina - squeeze lemon juice into a bowl, apply it to your face with cotton pads, then leave on for a few minutes and rinse.
Lakshmi Menon

This Indian supermodel listens to her mother for beauty advice. “She taught me to use organic coconut oil as a treatment. It makes my hair feel luxurious.”
Coconut oil is a great tool to keep your hair healthy, shiny and strong. The oil increases circulation in the scalp, supplying nutrients to the hair follicles.
Just apply the oil, starting from the scalp and working it out through to the ends. Massage the head for a few minutes to work the oil well into the follicles, leave it for 1 hour, then shampoo well and condition.
Marisa Miller

With her hectic travel schedule for photoshoots, Marisa Miller has to find quick and easy ways to look fresh.
She carries an eyelash curler with her at all times. It costs little, takes just a few minutes, and really makes your eyes pop.
Marisa is also a regular user of self-tanning products, which keep her looking healthy no matter how little sleep she gets!
