Well, without the following information, we can't really give decent input.
--What is the budget for the remodel?
--Which base services are offered?
--Which complimentary services are offered (such as free tea, aromatherapy, etc)?
--What type of area (upscale urban, etc), is the salon located in?
--What is the average price scale from $-$$$ for services?
--Who is their target audience (i.e. how big is the bank account of their customers)?
--What mood do they want to set (tranquil, upbeat, modern, edgy, etc)?
--What sort of products do they use (yes, this is important, because the higher grade products demand a different setting than lower/average products)?
--What is the foot traffic like in the salon?
Sorry.. lots of questions but all of these need to be considered!

great , that is the main concern noor has mmentioned
