Beauty routines

pagaldeewaani   yaar don’t go for facial threading.. it’s better u use wax..becaz facial hair are very thin n when u thread them they become thick but when u wax them they do not become thick..

but get them waxed from a very professional beautician etc..as u cannot properly wax urself and that ruin the hair content on the face

Shahreen, I need to thank you for recommending the talika. it really works and i've only been using it for a couple of weeks. I doubt it'll make me look as stunning as you but if this goes on i may be able to throw away my mascaras.
But the box isn't clear, do i need to use it twice a day forever or can i cut back to using it a few times a week now as it is pretty expensive stuff.

The box says twice a day but I've been using it just at night for a few weeks now and it has maintained the results so try that. I think they just say use twice a day because that way you will get through it twice as quick and buy more.

Shahreen I've got the aspirin - uncoated. Now what?

Crush it as best as you can, mix to a paste with very little water. Dab onto your face where needed or all over like a mask if you have enough. Leave for 10 minutes or untill it starts to fall off your face when the water dries.........it will make you sneeze though. Then cleanse and moisturise as usual.

Whats this for?

Spotty or acne prone skin.

u know, u dont need to do that aspirin tablet crunching. just go get urself any facewash or pore cleanser with salicyclic acid in it (aspirin is acetyl salicylic acid).

This way is better, liquid form is more diluted and often contains alcohol too. Plus this is a fraction of the price too.

Just aspirin and water?

How many aspirin and how much water?
Is it ok for sensitive skin?

as long as u remember salicylic acid breaks down skin. a 2% concentration is whats recommended for breaking down skin flakes that clog pores for most acne. 25% conc is used to burn warts off. even 2% can sting your face if you have sensitive skin..

Depends on how many spots you have! Usually about 6 should be fine, only with a tiny bit of water though.

Its really for meant for acne prone and greasy skin but I know some people who use it on senstive skin, just on the odd spot not the entire face and they seem fine with it.

Avon's Clearskin medicated Gel Wash (every morning)

Mudd Spa treatment products- facial masks (twice a week)

Herbal Face Pack- facial masks (depends, whenever I feel my skin is getting rough)

Clean & Clear scrub for Blackheads (once in two-three days)

Olay UV defense,moisture cream(Vitamin E and C) --- twice a day

Skin Smoothing Lotion (use it everyday countless times :-p)

Johnson Johnson baby oil (I love to massage it on my body after taking a shower)

hope I didn't forget anything...:p

That sounds like a nice little routine there CA. Very impressed that you moisturise your body every day by the way, I always start it off then get bored waiting for it to sink in.

ahhh beauty routine :o

Naa rahi beauty Naa rahi koi routine ....

Shahreen i'm thinking of ordering Talika Eye Therapy Patch. Have you used it, what do you think?

I have nandulala, but to tell the truth I expected more from it considering how much it costs. I get the same results from the Bodyshop Elderflower Eye Gel and it only costs a few pounds.

Let me know how it works out for you.

Hey Ive just recieved my talika Lipocils today, so I'll let you know if it works soon.
Shahreen I decided not to get the eye patch after all, I'll just get a good eye cream instead.
