Organic Pharmacys Carrot Butter Cleanser ( ditched my Eve Lom cleanser after the paraffin and lanolin started clogging my pores and causing bumpy spots)
Tigi Control Freak (hair serum)
Dermalogica Multi Vitamin face mask
Dermalogica Microexfoliant (exfoliating face wash)
L'Occataine baby products (make children smell like God intended)
Muslin clothes from Boots ( used to wipe cleanser off.....so cheap that you can afford to throw them away after use instead of going through the hassle of boiling them separetely)
Allergenics cream (for odd patches of excema related flare ups)
Tea tree oil (has so many multiple uses)
I'd better stop there actually.....got a bit carried away.
my list would probably be just as long…but i have never use anything i buy for more than 1 week. I even brought the same thing twice cos i thought it was a new product, but it turned out they had just changed the packaging!
Shahreen what would you reccomend for marks left by spots on the face? my sis has tried everything, but cant find anything that works…she even washed her face with milk at one point!!
belle the eye-shadow thing is though trial and error..it also helps if you have loads of younger cousins and a brother to use as models
Miss Mohabbat - this is a fraction of what I have, or have used.....my husbands says our bathroom looks like a mini branch of Boots. Although he never complains when I let him use my advantage points though.
You should get your sister to try some Bio Oil on her scars, either that or rosehip oil (whoops, I left that off my list) both of which she can get in any Holland & Barratts store.
thanks love, il buy some for her...should i buy both? and how long do you think she would need to use them for? shes not very good with this whole looking after ones skin thing.
Me and my sis have a pathetic competition going on with our Boots points...i buy everything from there, i dont care if superdrug is cheaper...i need points man.
Don't buy both, just one or the other and I would probably say that the rosehip oil would work better in this instance.
I quite agree about the Boots vs Superdrugs argument. I would be devastated if I lost my advantage card. Last year I bought my entire familys eid presents from Boots 'for free' using just my advantage points. Scary thing is when you realise that the amount of points you have is in proportion to how much you spend in there. Uh oh.
i would cry if Boots stopped doing the advantage card! im one of those sad people who like collecting things...like points or stamps for a free coffee after iv paid for 15 for that matter...i hate spending my points though...i need to be the winner and have the most points. Last year my sister spent her points on a straightner, i think the fact that you can use the points to buy things for "free" overrides the whole "how much have i spent" thing..not to forget the whole double points weekends they have...
Now that is a list shahreen!!!
I have been needin wanting n wishin for eve lom cleanser, but its kinda out there for me, especially since ive got a bit carried away with sephora, but i think ill pass on eve lom..
A few months ago that Eve Lom cleanser would’ve been on my list as well, but for some reason I developed an allergy to it and I broke out in those tiny ‘under the skin’ bumps. Then I found out that its full of lanolin and paraffin and other pore clogging mineral oils hence the bumps. The Carrot Butter cleanser I use instead works on the same principle as Eve Lom…its a balm that you use with a muslin clothe but its totally natural and organic.
The REN Omega 3 is a skin serum…I use it at night before using my moisturiser. It penetrates deeper into your skin than moisturiser and just helps the general condition and tone of your skin. I need it cos I’m getting old now.
i cant live without my rose hip oil.. i have to put that on before i go to bed…
other than that, i use MAC studiofix make up.. its pretty light.. the first MAC foundation i got was pretty heavy, but i found some nice stuff in toronto and pennsylvania..
I sometimes also use rimmel mascara, and hmm any liquid eyeliner.. however i think the Loreal one is the best… i just cant afford much these days
belle, its not oily at all... just put about 2-3 drops on ur hand and rub it on ur skin... i even put it on my feet sometimes.. its not like normal oils
i was wondering if you guys could reccommend a good make up kit....something which is quality....im getting married and i want to buy a good kit...can anybody reccommend some good lipsticks?
