hey girls,
I know this girl who trained at Seemi (Seemi’s?? not sure which one is the exact name)in lahore, and praises it so much that it becomes unbearable to hear, saying how expensive/better than everyone else it is. However, I never really heard of it- but then again I m not from lahore. She says that the sister of Nargis (the pakistani actress) owns it. Is this place really what she makes it out to be. She is not promoting it because she moved here to the U.S. and has nothing to do with the place anymore. Anyone had any experience there for wedding/general grooming?
seeme parlour is located in moon market,nurgis's sister(seeme)owns it.
my bhabhi got her engagement makeup done from seeme parlour and her makeup was quite good as well as a friend of mine got her bridal makeup from seeme....she was looking beautiful.yesss presently my friend's sister is a senior worker in his parlour.i have gone several times specially for haircut and ironing.:)

My cousin got her makeup done from seemis some 7 years ago and she looks HORRIBLE, Never again we would even think about going there

it is nicely decorated but i had a bad experience with them.i went there for my bridal mehndi since it was the only one i found open in Lahore on 2nd day of eid..and she did the most ugly mehndi on my foot.i got one foot done from them,gave them a piece of my mind and begged at allenora to do my mehndi(i got my makeup done from allenora)and finally got it done there.

Yea seemi just did the interior like new look .don't go there for bridal, idont think dey will dat gud. But for other services on can get there , dere rates are lower.

it seems like the parlor is not all that great.. I guess that girl was bluffing, she said it was "the #1 parlor of lahore"

I dunt think thay have a website. One of the seemi's sister has another parlour called Mishi is Moon Market Lahore. Mishi did the most horrible mehndi ever for my Nikkah. I saw Mishi's ad in the magazine ' Me and my wedding' and sorry to say it was the most third class makeup with most third class poses. I dunt think Seemi is any different than Mishi. They are sisters afterall and take their inspiration from bollywood lol...
My Sis in Law got her make up done from Seemi for her wedding. What I thought after I saw the make up was that they actually changed her features instead of enhancing them. Also there were too many colors and the makeup was not evenly blended. This is only what I think. Im talking about my sis in law.... my make up on my nikkah was neither a good experience from Allenora.
But I have noticed that what ever salon you talk about, everyone has different experience from the same place. I have had a bad one doesnt mean all the brides from there had a bad experience and that they were not satisfied. They might not produce the same satisfying results each time.

Cutiepie: try mariam khwaja for your makeup next time.she has been working with nilofer shahid previously for her fashion shows. I have seen her doing prettiest makeup and mehndi ever. She has her salon behind depilex on MM alam road.
