The gangsta pimp, Snoop Dogg will hopefully do some real damage this time around after the last single, “From The Chuuuch To Da Palace”, failed to spark any chart reaction. Taken from his latest album “Paid Tha Cost To Be Da Bo$$” and featuring Pharrell from NER*D, this is a hot hip-hop joint designed for radio. Whether or not it will gain enough momentum to earn a decent chart placing is anyone’s guess, but even if it doesn’t do well, Snoop can at least take comfort in the fact that it’s the best song he’s released in two years!
Have anyone of you listened to the song Beautiful by Snoop Dogg featuring Pharrell?
Yeah this is Snoops best tune since Lay-Low, which as usual was an Amazing Dre beat. Beautiful is a good song because of the Neptunes, but really Snoops lyrics suck. I dont think Snoop has had good lyrics since Doggystyle

The man has nothing topical and interesting to talk about. The new album had a few good songs (a few) but only one song had good lyrics, Pimp Slapped i think it was, in which he disses Suge Knight. other than that he has lost his knack
If you want a true lyricist, just listen to Gods Son by Nas. :)
That's your opinion, 50 Cent, but I still reckon, Snoop Dogg lyrics are better after Eminem, Dr. Dre. Maybe you don't like things he talk about in his music as I do - hey?
I agree with you on one part that Snoop hasn't come with the blast as he came with DoggyStyle album.
From 1992-1994 Snoop was hip-hop, but he is so hit and miss now days....My favourite artist of all time is Dre, but i admit he is not a rapper, so you cant really compare Snoop and him. Em, im not a huge fan of his, but when he wants to be, he can be the best lyrisist alive! Especially when he is guest starring, like he totally had one of the best verses of the year on Jay-Zs renegade.
IMO these guys are considered the greatest of all time, in the industry:
Pac, Big, Em, LL Cool J, KRS-One, Ice Cube, Rakim, Nas and Jigga...no one else is really in their league.
50 Cent: C’mon man, they maybe in the league of their own but I reckon their images have been faded out. Mainly 'cause they don’t come with more music as Eminem and Dr. Dre do. Add, yourself(50 Cent, lol) in that category, too.
714: Who’s your best friend?
Ums: Yepper, it’s a good tune.
So, sing with me…
I just want you to know that you’re really Special, oh yeah oh yeah…
Pac: Still the best ever!
Big: Listen to the song with Big on Jay Z's BP2, and youll know why he is sooo great
Em: if anyone is fading its Em, Eminem Show was a weak album, no way as good as MMLP
LL Cool J: Fading, but new album is OK
KRS-One: Still excellent
Ice Cube: Mans on Aftermath! You wait for his album, and youll see true gangsta rap
Rakim: Also on Aftermath! Oh yeah, he will reclaim his throne
Nas: Gods Son is an amazing album, he is in his prime
Jigga: Definatly fading i agree, only a few good new songs
Snoop has faded more than any of them except maybe LL Cool J.
The more i listen to 50 Cent, the more i realise he is becoming a bad rapper...listen to his old stuff, was much better. I still like him though
:rotfl: You day-dreamin’ ? Did you know how much worth Eminem Show album was? Check this Eminem Folder. There are tons of articles about The Eminem Show album.
What a manipulated statement, dude. :hehe: Khair rahane doo.
I don’t listen to Snoop Doggy as much as Dre, M and 50. I was in the party and this Beautiful song was playin’, thought, was a great effort by Snoop, nothin’ else.
50 has got a huge career ahead himself, so watch out!
D-12 new album will be out in Summer, so better watch out!

mmm.. 50 can't be average. 1.7 million albums sold out in the first week when it got released. That speaks alot of volume. Queens boy got a great future, I tell ya brother!
I'm sorry, but you keep thinking the more coppies people sell the better they are. Actually 50 has sold near to 3.5 million albums in the US, but how the hell does that prove he is the best? I'm sorry Pac's latest album has only sold 2 mil, and Nas is on 1 mil but both are still better rappers than 50. And that is a fact. Give me 10 examples of 50's skills at writing good lyrics on his new album. I bet you cant. On the other hand i could give you 30 brilliant lyrics from people like Nas and Dead Prez. Fact is just because you sell more, does not mean you are a better rapper. Vanilla Ice sold tens of millions of album, yet he is a crap rapper. Fact is no one likes 50 for his average lyrics, we like him for his wit, and his excellent producers which give him great beats. Your argument that him seeling so much makes him better is totally baseless, because half the people that buy albums are pop fans who enjoy Ja Rule, Nelly and 50...they may be entertaining but will never be considered the greatest.
" You day-dreamin' ? Did you know how much worth Eminem Show album was? Check this Eminem Folder. There are tons of articles about The Eminem Show album."
I dont care how much worth he is. MMLP is a true classic rap album, but Eminem Show has what, 5 classic songs? MMLP nearly every song was a true classic. What i am saying is, Eminems best album was MMLP and most rap fans agree. And if we are giving links, give me proper ones, not ones to gupshup, go to SOHH.com forums, a rap site, it will show you a true opinion of what most rap fans think.
I have over 250 rap albums and Get Rich or Die Trying and The Eminem Show are not even in the Top 50. I recomend you listen to God's Son by Nas or Quality by Talib Kweli for real rap. For nice pop-music listen to 50 Cent, Ja Rule or Nelly (even though i hate Ja lol )

Care to back up your statement with source, would ya? MMLP, I agree that was the best album by Eminem but The Eminem Show was on top of charts of year 2002. P.S, there are links from valuable source like CNN, BBC etc who rated Eminem Show best album of the year 2002; and that's in the folder. Did you understand what am sayin'?
Okay, forget 50, I reckon we won't agree, therefore, no need for more discussion on that subject.
Ja Rule, I can't even stand that guy. Nelly, yeah, he's a good rapper. :)

You still dont see my point! The success of a album, has NOTHING to do with the QUALITY of the album. Backstreet boys will sell millions, but it will still be crap! All those reviewers are white people who love Eminem, amongst the hip hop community it is agree that either Talib Kweli's Quality or Nas album were the best of 2002. And you want me to back it up? Fine: goto SOHH.COM and go to the forums, start a thread and ask Real rap fans what their fav album of 2002. I will find you the thread actually, gimmi a day, that place is huge
The opinion of many counts, not some Music Critic.
"Okay, forget 50, I reckon we won't agree, therefore, no need for more discussion on that subject."
Well i love 50, but he has no decent topics in his rap, just some good dance or fun rap tunes, not poetry that some rappers like TuPac and Nas have mastered.
"Ja Rule, I can't even stand that guy. Nelly, yeah, he's a good rapper."
Ja Rule is the crap i agree, but his first album was raw. Nelly first album was great, now he releases pure pop rap.
