Dear soul sisters and fellow fashionista’s Salaamz :smiley:

I havent been active on paklinks for quite a while. But seeing other threads where people put their wedding dresses for sale i thought i should put mine for sale aswell.

I hope i am not annoying the moderators by placing my thread in the wrong section , because since this is the wedding forum i thought it would probably the best place to post it.

Especially for last minute brides ( lol no offense i mean with sisters who need a reasonable priced beautiful lehnga in a short time)

Reason why i would like to sell my bridal dress is because there are no many functions here where i live that i would be able to wear it again.
I paid quite a lot for both of the dresses and i find it a waste since i am not able to wear it again and i cant just give it away :frowning: i paid a lot for it.
And because i am sure someone else could use it and look gorgeous in it :slight_smile:

Let me add that the pictures dont do the lenhga justice in real!!!

The bridal’s skirt is a gogeous permaid type / A shap skirt made of fine put silk jamavar brocade (benarsi) with embroiduries and cute little flowers.
The top is full embellished with a cute small open back …i will put up more pictures coz its difficult for me to describe in words . If anyone is interested i will place more pictures because i have packed it away.
The top’s fabric is also made of benarsi with half length sleeves , it has a zip on the side for closure.

the dupatta is heavily embellished made of pure and high quality chiffon perfect finishing with satin shocking pink lining…any more inquiries please let me know i will post close up pictures!

Both dupatta aswell as the lengha’s skirt has a nice flowing 2 shade dyed color of dark maroonish red and shocking pink with a embellished turqoise border.
the skirt is embellished on front and back side.

I will also give the bag for free which i will post pictures of inshallah , and i will give extra pair of sandals for free which has been never used , full of pink crystal diamontees i cant walk on them they r too high as i always wear flats
They are size 11/12 (european 40 )

Mehndi dress:
Its a perfect outfit for both mehndi or on other functions . You can say its a multi functional dress! :slight_smile:

Again i must say the pictures dont do justice it has a mustard color , with ribbon and zaree work. Fabric is made of chiffon with silk lining.
I have also a matching headscarf , for the hijabies out there like myself but my mother inlaw insisted me not to wear it :S so its brand new never worn.
I will add the matching churiyan for free.
the dupatta is heavily embellished both bridal and mehndi outfit is obviously custom made with handwork

and i am willing to add extra unstitched pink georgette chiffon suit with white motif thread flower work on it …* i have too many pink outfits …
this suit has dupatta with same threadwork , unstitched lining and unstitched fabric for shalwar.
for serious buyers i will place pictures of this also.

What prices would you suggest ?
I am easy to neggotiate about the price , but offers should be serious and reasonable :)

i was thinking of for the bridal lehnga : Euro: 1000
Mehndi : Euro : 500

if its too high please let me know or if you have any offer in dollars also feel free to pm :) i am willing to answer all questions accuratly , give u measurments , sizes and willing to give extra free unstitched suits!

Congrats on your wedding. I can see the logic in wanting to sell your bridal clothes and put them to good use, no shame in that.

Unfortunately though, I think they are priced quite a bit too high. I'm not sure what you've paid for them, but expect to get about 30-50% back on your cost (and you'd be quite fortunate to sell it in the higher part of that range, I believe). A worn wedding lengha, regardless of condition, will yield a much lower return than a new one. I know you're asking for the best offer, but you may scare people away with such a high starting price

There is also a classified section on this forum that may be more appropriate for your post.

By the way this is just my honest opinion, you're welcome to proceed however you may seem fit and pay me no mind :-)

Btw i am willing to reduce both dresses with 50% (i know i sound desperate just want to sell them and they are locked up away in my suitcases )

and the keep the same offer with all the unstitched dresses and sandals as i promised with the whole package.

Mary, please post if these outfits are still available. I may be interested in purchasing them for a photoshoot.

The models will be around 32-24-33. Would this fit them?
