Hi selling a heavy Lehnga I brought last year for a cousins wedding, Only worn once. Am selling it as I probably wont get a chance to wear it again after my wedding…
the Lehnga can be adjusted to fit UK sizes 10 -14. Its in good condition apart from one of the bead tassels from one corner of the dupatta have fallen off. (this can easily be disguised or alternetively u could remove the tassels from all 4 corners)
I brought the lehngha for £575, and am selling it for £300 + postage if anyone is interested feel free to pm me,
In London or anywhere in UK I haven't seen heavy lehngas like this going less then £500 the guy was asking for £750 and we got him down to £575 but im not asking for the asking price im asking for £300 :)
actually i think CE is spot on, Compared to the stuff you get here in the UK, the price is really good.
could i be really cheeky and ask wot lip gloss you've got, its such a pretty colour :)
I have seen many copies to these kinda designs, which are very cheap looking, cheap kaam and cheap fabric used. which r selling for around £250. This Lengha is very heavy with kaam intact.....Lenghas similar to this design are in shops like "Daminis" "seasons" "Silons" and "Banwait Bros & co" in the £550 - £800 range. This is the price lenghas cost in London and Birmingham at least, not sure about other places. Anyone who can find outfits like this cheaper in London can take me shopping right away :)
Thanks CE, i loved the colour of the lipgloss but i loved your outfit too :)
You are so right about the qulaity of kaam and material, brum is full of lots of cheap tat that they are trying to sell at extortionate prices and the customer services at some of these shops leaves alot to be desired. There are only a couple of shops that i would spend my hard earned cash at.
Daminis and silons are very pricey and they do have some nice stuff. I think you're price for a worn outfit (only once :)) is pretty reasonable.

I disagree. I have been to Green Street many a time. My cousin brought her wedding lengha from there, it has a lot more embriodary than this lengha and its was only £400. Perhaps we are better at bartering. :)
I was quoted £275 for a sari in Green Street, I paid £120 for it. It only took 20 mins of convincing!
I know Green st VERY well, And I have never come across a wedding lehnga costing £400, I came across one wedding lehnga costing £500 yes it was full of kaam and much heavier then the one I'm selling, but at the same time it was just Ughh :D I dont even think I came across a wedding lehnga for £400 in Pakistan....but good for ur cousin for getting such a bargain
I remember seeing ur Saree and I think £120 was about right for the type of kaam it had
Most done up wedding lehngas in green st range from between £900 - £2,000 But I've never bargained with any of them as I haven't liked any of the designs. But usually the sales assistant will tell u a price, and then tell u not to worry they will sort out a good price for u once u have chosen an outfit
No the sari that you have seen was £90. This is another sari, which has a lot more than just sequins on it. The embroidary on your lengha is squins only isnt it, unless im going blind.
I just think you got gyped luv, £575 for a lengha with sequins...not something I could do. :)
Umm thnx for pointing out the kaam is full of Sequins, but I dont remember saying it wasn’t
like I said b4. I brought this outfit 2 days b4 my cousins wedding last minute thing, when my original came out a disaster. But not like thts any of ur beeswax, like its not any of ur beeswax where I choose to spend my money
If we can stick to the topic plz people, asking price for this outfit is £300 + postage
