Re: Beautiful Nort-east India
I'm from Northeast! so surprised and pleased to see this thread! :D
and the pics're spectacular! but you've to come and see the real deal!
NE is India's most diverse region in terms of biodiversity.
there's plains, unreachable mountains, tropical evergreen rain forests etc etc all there!
Re: Beautiful Nort-east India
sadly, a few pics’re not from Assam(my state) actually!
![]()
it is the Elephant Falls, Meghalaya
![]()
this is a natural bridge network of living tree roots and its found in Meghalaya only, that’s just next to us!
i maybe wrong, but it looks like Arunachal Pradesh instead. even tho its a Brahmaputra river bridge, but the river starts from Tibet as Tsangpo and enters India in AP and then Assam.
Re: Beautiful Nort-east India
^^
Sorry must have mixed few
Final one is assam though that iam sure
Re: Beautiful Nort-east India
Why don’t you put few assam pics
I had one Assamese lady in my class.she was stunning ![]()
Also what food do you guys have, most of dudes are super strong, never won a arm wrestling match, specially arunachal guys I think this guys have completely defferent genes
Re: Beautiful Nort-east India
No pics at present, will put up when i can :)
haha, yeah, Assamese women're quite the stunners! followed by Mizo and Nagas!
food, well its different in different places. 'Assamese' is actually a very big umbrella. lots of different tribes and non-tribes come under it. Hindu Assamese wont eat beef, Muslim ones wont've Pork, but even then too, pork is very popular. 'Assamese cuisine' would be the one that the Mainlander Indian'd be the most comfortable with in NE. it gets on being more and more 'exotic' as you go more inside the region.
man, that's such a big misconception! NE is diverse in the races too! to others, they may all just look 'chinkies', like someone in the forum used, but're very different. an Arunachali is very different from an Assamese. leave that, even within Nagas, there're 15 different tribes with different mutually unintelligible languages. so much so that, the tribes'd to've a Nagamese creole to understand eachother! :D
Re: Beautiful Nort-east India
I had lot of friends from assam few from arunachal in my engineering not just NE from kashmir to kerala, from what I saw assamese are closet to indigious in ne and high breed mixed with mongoloid race.arunachali are completely mongoloid and little bit fair in colour compare to other mongoloid races in ne,i think because this people were mixed with indigious from what I saw though, that girl in my class was completely indigious though
Yea I know about pork is common like chicken, btw where do u stay.
