I have SO wanted to do this, for years and years…
I once saw this lawn at the beginning of spring…the homeowners had planted literally hundreds of crocus bulbs, distributing them around their front yard. These are the first flowers of spring, they have little green blades for leaves and once the blooms are done and the grass starts to grow, they blend in perfectly with the lawn. And they heralded spring with a blanket of purple and yellow flowers in their yard, it was just so beautiful.
This fall, I promised myself…I will buy those bulbs and do the job! You can get the bulbs at “bulk rates”, the more you buy, the bigger the discount. I cant wait to do this!
