Beautiful Hadith

The Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Some people will come on the Day of Judgement and their Imaan will be outstanding, its light will shine from their chests and from their right hands. So it will be said to them, ‘glad tidings for you today, assalamu ‘alaikum and goodness for you, enter into it (Jannah) forever!’

So the Angels and the Prophets will be jealous of the Love of Allah for them.
“So the Sahabah asked, “Who are they, Ya Rasoolullah?
“He (sallallaahu’ alayhi wa sallam) replied,”
They are not from us and they are not from you.
You are my companions but they are my beloved.

They will come after you and will find the Book (the Qur’aan) made redundant by the people, and a Sunnah which has been killed by them.
So they will grab hold of the Book and the Sunnah and revive them.
So they read them and teach them (the Qur’aan and the Sunnah) to the people and they will experience in that path a punishment more severe and more ugly than what you (O Sahabah) have experienced.

Indeed the Imaan of one of them is equivalent to the Imaan of forty of you.
The Shaheed of one of them is equivalent to forty of your Shuhadaa’.
Because you found a helper towards the truth (the Prophet - sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and they will find no helper towards the truth.

So they will be surrounded by tyrant rulers in every place, and they will be in the surroundings of Bait-ul-Maqdis (Al-Quds, Masjid al-Aqsa).
The Nussrah (Help and Victory) of Allah will come to them, and they will have the honour of it on their hands.

“Then he (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “O Allah, give them the Nussrah **and make them my close friends in Jannah.” **

This is a very serious matter. I can't believe this, hence I question the authenticity of this hadith

i dont think it means jealouse in a negative or bad way,
or may be jealouse should be displaced by another word

I would not post this if it wasnt authentic.

The prophets of Allah(peace of Allah be upon them) are the best of human beings and the foremost in their love of Allah.

It is a natural human instinct that when you are in love with someone, you want their attention to be focused on yourself only.As soon as the object of your affection turns away even slightly, you may get curious/hurt/jealous.Ayesha RA used to be "jealous" of Khadija RA because the prophet SAW loved her the most and talked about her often and would cry in her memory. But was this "jealousy" negative? Not at all.

This hadith is talking about a particular group of muslims in the later generations who will come, and on the Day of Judgment,Allah Azza wa Jall would talk to them so beautifully and welcome them into His paradise. So much so,that even the prophets would notice this showering of attention and love of Allah Azza wa Jall upon this bunch of Muslims.

What makes them so special?and why would Allah give so much of His love to them?

This is because they will uphold the Words of Allah and the Sunnah of our beloved Muhammad SAW at a time of chaos and Fitnah preceding the Day of Judgment. They would do this, because of their intense love of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)even though they would have never seen or met him.But they would copy the way he walked and talked and dressed and ate and slept and so on.

Ask a man who has a beard in today's time how difficult it is for him to go to work outside without someone passing negative remarks about the beard or a sister who wears a niqab because she fears her Lord .

In another hadith, the Prophet SAW mentioned that a time will come when holding onto his Sunnah will be as difficult as holding onto hot coals.Hasnt that time arrived now?

Yet,this special group of Muslims will strive to follow Allah and His Messenger despite all the odds.

May Allah include us in this group of believers, who would be by the side of the Prophet SAW on Qiyamah!:( ameen!

and Allah knows best.
