I made these yesterday. My first attempt carrot/almond cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Pics did not turn out good due to bad lightening at night.

I simply love baking and trying out new things.

Made this last month on my daugther’s 3 birthday. Chocolate yoghurt cake with chocolate ganache, marzipan and whipped cream frosting.

twinklestar, here is a video tutorial .. Princess cake - How to make a princess doll birthday cake - YouTube

but I did not use this one, as I wanted to keep it simple .. I have a form for this cake, its called gugelhupf in german, cake turns out like this:

I took off the legs of the doll otherwise the doll is too tall for the form, then placed it in the openning in the middle of the cake and did the frosting and marzipan coat on top. simple really.

There's a pan by wilton you can get. The dolls are also available at michaels

Has anyone made lemon meringue pie lately?
I have been seeing recipes online but not sure which one to follow as they all have different ratios:s Any tried and tested recipe?

I am also looking into buying a good icing kit. Any recommendations? Im in Canada. I bought an icing cone some months ago but it turned out really difficult to use, and the nozzle kept falling- I need something by which i can practice and make my hand stable, and that can also be used for cream cheese frosting

No, never taken a class/course. I think it’s something inbuilt. I love baking and decorating.
I’d love to take classes at Michaels.
About the makeup it’s made out of fondant, I googled few pics nothing youtub’d or step by step thing. The pic I saw and what I made was totally different :cb:

dont buy one from michaels. instaed by the doll from dollar store and buy the pan like the one sadia mentioned, u can get it from any shop
