You are a genius and Imran knows nothing about cricket. My six year old nephew and you know that you also play semis and the final to win the tourney, not just the quarter final. But Immy doesn't. Oh dear...
Anyway, the sheer stupidity of his self belief and strategic break down of the game (that worked as a motivational theory in itself) that made him win the 92 world cup. So Imran Khan can afford to talk like that.
But maybe you don't always have to talk out loud every time you put your 92 WC captain's hat on. Nit picking is a quite thing in 2015.
Dude, take a deep breath. And then read my post again. There is a difference between "self" belief and believing in others (Pak team) whose performance you have no control over. Pakistan may or may not make it past the QFs, but to discount the other teams that await it in SF and Finals is the height of stupidity.

You being an Indian is obviously majorly offended at the statement glorifying Pakistan's chances and there's nothing I can do to sooth your fevered brow.

The way I see it, it is height of stupidity to take Imran's statement too literally, and beat the drum about the blooming obvious that even a five year old would know.
I take Imran's statement to mean Aus is the only wall standing between Pak and the WC. Not sure what you are reading between the lines.
