diwana:
May be not related to this thread in strict sense but your point is very valid and need attention.
At least you see Indians acknowledging that the issue is related to criticism of India and a foolish men appointed as a Justice brought in to light serious lack of logical or sensible thinking even in many ‘elites’ of India.
(And many guppies from India on this BB)
Glad that the appeal was accepted. But the poor guy now has to go for third bench.
Do they not have right bench from the beginning??
Again I remind OP that this issue has been discussed in recent past extensively.
Back then Indians were bending backward to support removal of the student or it was a great decision from those stupid judges!
LOL…
I am pretty sure Indians now jump up and down again to hail this decision.
Chit Bhi Meri, Pat Bhi Meri!

One should read that thread to enjoy even more but here is one example:
This is what the first post by PIUSA said:
This is what I said as first post in that thread:
Other Pakistani guppies had similar thoughts.
And now!!
Guess what, these two judges said it was ridiculous act to remove this poor guy who just wanted to have a beard!!!
I don’t flip flop on issues like you. I still stand by my earlier comments. Judges have the right to pass judgement based on their sensibilities. Just the fact that the two benches had opposite views means that not everyone buys into this extremist mindset.
India is not an religious state and educated Indians will never support attempts to make it a fundamentalist/extremist state.
