Re: Beard : Dealbreaker

^ never waste a moment to jump on and dissect my comments do ya Nomi? I’m touched

Re: Beard : Dealbreaker

You are just being excessively defensive. I just increased your knowledge a bit. You can agree or disagree or refute my statement. No need to get all that angry n stuff.

Re: Beard : Dealbreaker

Defensive about what?!? :rotfl:

Not defensive at all my friend! Didn’t you see the smiling face? The whole context of this thread is about preferences…if Ghosty can allude to “dumbledore style” all I did was tease him a little bit…don’t bring in references to Sunnah into something that you k ke obviously is innocent fun.

Like you’ve never been guilty about that yourself now, huh?

Re: Beard : Dealbreaker

No offence to anyone, Some of the worst people I have ever come to know usually had darhi. They take advantage of it and use it as a sheild to protect their obnoxious selves and becharay feeble-minded people call them molvi saab, haji saab, sufi saab.

Re: Beard : Dealbreaker

Apnay ghar kee qaithi hai. Usually guys in their teens love it. ajj french cut, kaal gaotee.

Re: Beard : Dealbreaker

I see what you're saying. However, this type of thinking can be applied to all kinds of different situation not related to religion. For instance, there are people with university degrees are amongst the most ignorant people I have seen. Should I also generalize to mean that education isn't worth anything? I can find similar issues with police, health care professionals and probably any other field, where people are in a position of responsibility/power and their behaviour is less than examplary.

Re: Beard : Dealbreaker

I suggest that no man is ruled out by you women who are looking for a spouse only on the basis that he happens to have a beard ... To completely rule out the possibility is rigging the odds against you ... On the flip side I urge all bearded men to not rule out non-khimar wearing women either ...

Find reasons to "marry" and try not to focus on "what is not required" to make your spouse hunt more productive ...

Re: Beard : Dealbreaker

I know women including myself who have a preference for men with beard a) bc it physically attracts them and b) for religious reasons.
Although you cant really know how God fearing a person is, I sort of think these days it takes a lot of courage and taqwa for a man to keep a beard bc its not fashionable/mainstream and it turns away a lot of options when it comes to rishta search so the beard is kind of a indicator that a person must care about his deen and following the sunnah.
