I have a 4 years daughter. Now I am going to start her schooling.my options are beacon house , city school, roots school. Living in rawalpindi peshawar road area.any suggestions? ???

Beacon house by far. It’s like Harvard of Pakistani schools all the elite burger kids go there. I remember me walking there first time it was as if i’ve walked in to a kids wonderland. The teachers didn’t beat me up and the kids didn’t speak native punjabi slang. Everyone spoke English and soft urdu. I was 6 years old I think and the best part was that they gave you free lunch. I didn’t had to take my lunch ka dabba with allo gosht and best part was water was always available! I made so many friends there and had a total blast until my parents dragged me out of there and brought me to the states and put me in a weird ghetto style public school! I wish I could go back and re live the moments. BEACON HOUSE!

Well I think the sort of luxuries you are talking about is also provided by city school. Both have comparable fee structure.i am particularly asking about education and other curricular activities. But thanks for suggestions. Anyone else can suggest? ???

I have a nephew who is 9 years old in grade 4 I think. From your post I found that The City School and Beaconhouse School are English Medium Schools and have campuses in Faisalabad.
What is the fee structure for these schools?
Are their any other more affordable English medium schools in Faisalabad, that have good curriculum? If so, please list them along with their fee structure.

well I don’t know about faisalabad. Have never been there.but yes city and beacon both have branches in fsd.their fee for montessori is 9000-10000 approximately

you can’t go wrong with any of those. I wen’t to both. Beaconhouse is sort of chilled out while TCS is sort of more academic focused.

Chilled out is an understatement bro. Beaconhouse is a Godsend for Pakistani children. If you haven’t experienced it then you missed out a chunk of fun in your childhood. I’m glad I was a part of their whole 90s revolution.

I’ve just enrolled my 3yo daughter in school. I did a lot of research, like A LOT I wanted a well balanced school for my daughter: not TOO hard core on studies life Siddiq public school and not merely focusing on extra curricular either.
I considered both BSS and TCS as well as roots and in the end decided to go with none of them. The reason is this: while these schools have excellent campuses in major cities like Lahore, Khi and Islamabad, their rawalpindi branches are, sorry to say, completely ghetto. They’re basically milking their brand to operate third class branches in Satellite town etc. If you go and visit the branches , you would never be able to guess it belongs to such a prestigious name. And if I’m paying Rs. 10,000+ per month on one kids tuition alone, then I wanna be able to see where my money if going other than straight into administration pocket.
If I was in a more posh location, maybe I would have opted for the aforementioned schools since their standards very much vary from location to location (the types of teachers and principal hired etc as well as campus facilities).
For now I have opted for Lahore Grammar School located near Holy Family Hospital. Alhamdulillah I feel very satisfied and content with this choice. I feel the school upholds it’s name within this branch. The campus is excellent and all the staff I’ve met so far including the principal is very intelligent and we’ll spoken. I’m hopeful the school will so justice to both academics and extra curricular inshaAllah.
I wish you all the best in your search, I know all too well how daunting it is to pick the right school from the sea of options.

Thanks gor your suggestion. I also think the same. That beacon house has a bit more relaxing and chilled environment for kid.but I want my daughter to have a strong base.so I will go for city school. Thanks

Lgs is good in lhr.but it doesn’t have any branch in my vicinity. On peshawar road area rawalpindi beacon city roots all have good branches. But roots school make your child spoiled and blunt.they have more stress on extra curricular activities. Confidence is good but not over confidence.
I went to Beaconhouse ever since I started school. But this is wayyyyy back. I think for both City and Beaconhouse its important to look into exactly what branch you are enrolling your child in. They are all so different. Beaconhouse in my opinion focused on not just the studies but a kid’s personality too. Their behavior, etiquettes etc. Also we were highly encouraged to participate in sports which I think City school does too. They are both comparable when it comes to tuition fee. Again, branch is important.

Well beacon has 10000+ fee here in rawalpindi. While city has 9000 around. So there is a difference of 1500 rup between their fees.so fee is comparable and so much so standard is also same for both.
