Dhoni got MOM for some 30 odd runs..
Whereas Ajmal had taken 5 Wickets in the same match.
I think it is a Valid dispute.. Ajmal deserved the MOM. **

Dhoni deserved the MOM in the First Match. I think the issue is that Ajmal deserved MOM in the Last match for his 5 wickets.**
Yes he did it was purely given to Dhoni to prove he is a match winner which sadly he is not and to make his repo even more

They probably gave it to him for his captaincy in the 3rd ODI (sharp performance in the field & successfully defending a small total)
But then if you think about it, if Dhoni won 2 out of 3 MOM awards then how come Nasir Jamshed (although I think he DESERVED it) won the man of the series award?

He is an excellent wicket keeper, useful batsman but NOT a Match winner.**

Dhoni is a match-winner in ODIs for sure, one of the better finishers in the game (cf. Bevan).
But too often you see him stranded with the tail. He needs to bat higher (no. 4 or 5)

I can recall several innings when he came in with the required run rate at 4-5, increased it to 8-9 and then Either finish off on the last ball (lucky) or lose the match.

Absolutely correct. Has Dhoni played some match winning innings? Yes he has. But the number of times in last two years that he tuk tuks for no reason would put Misbah to shame. Unnecesssrily CREATES pressure.

Take it easy bro ........the guy has not scored a ODI century outside India let alone overseas ......and 16's 50 against Srilanka in useless bilateral series against them.......Bevan is by the greatest finisher ever in ODI

Pakistan should stop being apologetic to the Indians, if they dont want to visit Pakistan or some neutral venue, suits them. Pakistan should contact some other team.
