well i make this potato/onion salad everytime we bbq..
basically you just slice potatoes and onions (preferably consistent in size). seperate the rings.. wash, dry.
spread out a sheet of aluminum foil. vertically line up the potatoes, alternating with rows of onion rings. just make sure you leave enough room on either sides for you to be able to wrap it over as a little package.
so yes.. after ure done lining up the potatoes n onions, sprinkle over salt/pepper/ oregano and cheese (watever kind u fancy.. i mostly do the cheddar/ mozzerella mix) lastly, take a few dollops of sour creme and kinda spread over the entire arrangement. be easy on the sourcreme tho.. or else it'll get too goo-ey to handle.
it mostly takes around an hr for it to be done.. so i mostly pop these packages in on the top rack at the beginning since they take the longest.
other than that i do garlic bread..
for bread, i just buy regular french bread.. for the garlic spread: well take a few bulbs of garlic (4-5), halve them and caramelize them. like arrange them on a baking dish, sprinkle with olive oil and throw em in the oven for around an hr.
next squeeze the outside shells of these garlic bulbs and the cloves will pop out automatically. now crush those, add them to regulari margarine/butter. add salt and some oregano and grated cheese.
spread this garlic spread on the french bread slices and pop them on the bbq grill... turn them over a few times. they're a yummer! you can also sprinkle more grated cheese (non-softened) on the slices before u bbq them.. but it's only more calories.. :)
Hand-grilled whole goat/sheap...everyone must have his/her own knife for slicing self-serving...with green tea of course... :) ...including plenty of greens/salads & butter milk will be handy...hmmmmmm

salt and pepper (u can use white pepper or red pepper) to taste
harra dhanya

garam masala / either u can take only ground kiya huwa zeera and dry dhanya
or you can buy these ready made masala’s from shaan or national and make a mix with ur own spices ( thats what I do)
mix the above ingredients well, make patties and bbq them
After the barbecue, we make chai on the grill :) We put the teapot right on the coals...its fun. :)
of cours ei have to have pilao or biriyani on the side with the grilled chicken and kebabs :)
