Description
Join YD DC for a city-wide scavenger hunt culminating in a BBQ/picnic at Fletcher’s Boathouse… the fun begins for the scavengers at 11:30 in Dupont Circle - meet with your teams of 4-5 people at the fountain for your packet of clues - you have 2 hours to find as many of the items as possible, then its off to a sunday afternoon picnic in the park. BBQ + Hunt = $25 and BBQ alone = $20. Tickets can be bought on www.yourdil.org/dc/bbq

Hey Sahar, unfortunately I learned about this pretty late so couldn’t change our plans but will definitely keep an eye on the future events.

I looked at dil website. Looks very good. It’s a great cause and an effort. I specifically liked map of the regions where dil has contributed and the details about the schools, photos, as well as the financial statements. I think it helps a lot of skeptics who are dismissive of such projects based on the suspicion if the money is going to the right hands (I’m saying this because I’m a big one of those). I’ll pass on this info to some people I know.
