BBC's World Cup Form Guide

The Seedings seem like a joke to me…SA seeded 5th!!!
BBC SPORT | Cricket | Cricket World Cup form guide
Australia: Seeded: 1 World ranking: 2
SriLanka: Seeded: 2 World ranking: 6
NewZealand: Seeded: 3 World ranking: 3
Pakistan: Seeded: 4 World Ranking: 4
South Africa: Seeded: 5 World Ranking:1
West Indies: Seeded: 6 World ranking: 8
England: Seeded: 7 World Ranking: 7
India: Seeded: 8 World Ranking: 5

***PAKISTAN :jhanda: ***
Seeded: 4 World ranking: 4
Captain: Inzamam-ul-Haq

Pakistan are suffering a slump in form having won just two of their last five one-day internationals.
Inzamam-ul-Haq’s side lost the recent series 3-1 in South Africa and will have to look back to the 3-1 home victory over West Indies at the end of 2006 for inspiration.

And the 1992 world champions could be further hampered if pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar fails to recover from a knee injury which is threatening to rule him out of the start of the World Cup.

Re: BBC's World Cup Form Guide

Man England seeded above India...ths ridiculous...even if they won the series in Aus..thts just a flash in the pan coz of the brilliance of just one player--Collingwood...the kind of performances they have been giving before tht--even the minnows will believe they got some sort of a chance against England!

As for me the ranking looks a lil better like this:

Australia:
South Africa:
SriLanka:
NewZealand: / West Indies:
Pakistan: / India:
England:

A couple of the teams as per me stand pretty much the same chance of winning...

Re: BBC's World Cup Form Guide
