BBC: Superhuman: Spare Parts

BBC’s Superhuman is a series profiling the human body, bionics, anatomy and the issues that arise with it. This episode, Spare Parts, talks about parts of our body that fail and how far medical science has reached in repairing and replacing these parts.

Check out the story of the little two year old boy Kyle and how he gets his hearing back with a cochlear implant, too freakin’ amazing. Also the story of an old dying NYC man who recieves the heart of a 21 year old, and how it radically turns his life around.

Some parts of this video might be disturbing and may not be suitable for people with a weak stomach. Enjoy.
