BBC: Police find forensic evidence that Davis did not act in self-defence

This case is rapidly becoming extraordinary. Lahore police have concluded that Davis could not have been acting in self defence, despite the two men he killed being armed.

  1. No fingerprints were found on the triggers of their guns, indicating that they had not recently placed tried to use their guns.
  2. All the bullets of their guns were in the magazines; none were in the firing chamber, indicating that the two deceased had not opened fire.
  3. Eyewitness accounts (mentioned in this article) and forensic evidence (mentioned in others) indicate that at least one of the robbers was shot dead in the back while trying to flee.

I was expecting the initial murder charge to be dropped quite soon because the first news reports made this appear to be a clear cut case of self defence - I had thought that only firearms and immigration charges would stick to this guy. But what the police have uncovered makes this seem much more serious indeed.

Davis the Arrogant Cowboy reminds me of conservative Muslim enemies like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Back, and Eric Prince.
