Saw a BBC item about 30 mins ago about the presence of pork in chicken sold and consumed in the UK. I only caught part of it. Did anyone watch the whole thing?

The problem is not only in Eu or UK, few days ago in Pakistan the imported feed for chicken was destroyed as it also contained pigs and other animal fat.

what are the options here?
- Take the stoic view that you can't do anything about it so just enjoy it
- Become vegetarians
- Change the religious diktat and start accepting all animals
Globalization is probably the antidote to many things religious I guess

Sometimes I wonder to see that no one is arrogent in publishing their views on Jewish or Christan fourms. Why people take muslim fourm a way to show their true face.

Some people who are very careful adapt to these as following:
1- Stop eating outside prepared food. The biggest source of adulterated meat and other food items. Hamburger is the worst meat one can imagine in its quality or source.They do not believe on so called 'fatwa' in a frame hanging on the wall.
2- They go to stores run by trusted people and see at least chicken being prepared in front of them.
3- Some people go periodically to a farm and get animals slaughtered in front of them and bring meat to distribute to others.
4- They eat pure vegetarian or fish meal from outside if no other choice. But there is no assurance if oil or animal fat being used.
5- Home made food becomes the best option then.
6- Orthodox Jews also eat home made and prepared food.
