Re: bay hayie...kuch kuch ziyada hi hai
shab-e-firaq, what's your problem? What kind of crappy, lethargic, dakhanousi and old fashioned culture you are talking about? I am fed up of people like you that want to bring Pakistan to live in the times of old when women are put in chadar and chardevari and not to give them right as a equal citizen.
I admit I am a secularist and I hate people like you and I hope to God that one day people will not say this kind of crap in any thread. Thanks.
Pakistan is a Muslim Country . . . Chahay naam ka he sahi . . . and I hope Allah that one day people will realize that Pakistan is an Islamic country where islamic rules should be followed . THANKS ![]()

Equal rights is cool but not with mini skirts and bikinis.
Unless you mean same rights and treatment that western women receive?
Of course, all public service of that kind starts from ones own home first.

Islam is religion of moderation and modernization but it is not religion of public nudity and public erotica.
Islam does not give a license for public nudity and eroticism.
Erotica is allowed but in between husband and wife. nudity is allowed but between husband and wife .
The kind of culture Shab-e-firaq is talking about is filth of the society. It is equivalent of spreading filth in an Islamic country and society.
Yes Islam does not dictate that women be locked in homes and people should not have fun. Women can go out dressed modestly , men are supposed to dress modestly too. Women are allowed to participate equally in the economic and social well being of the family and society. People are free to have fun but Islam's idea of fun is not based on nudity or erotica.
Islam allows women equal rights and responsibilities, Islam allows men equal rights and responsibilities too.
There is a dress code mandated in Quran. Secularism does not mean you give license to anybody to do anything they want to do , and that too in public.

i respect your opinion now that said let me get one thing clear with you if you want to modrenize yourself with public display of affection in a country where plp still fear God you go ahead but i think to modrenize yourself you could have taken a better route maybe something like impowering women instead of making it okay for them to be naked
and lastly i told myself not to say this but i cant help it do you really hate me or do you hate the fact that i dont like plp drinking and kissing in public places of lahore i mean i didnt say i have a problem with paki females being lawyers hhhmmmm but i guess you missed that because you would rather have plp dating to be modren rather than building ideas to make them selves better....but i dotn hate you for your ignorance i pitty you for your simple mind
Re: bay hayie...kuch kuch ziyada hi hai
I will take you pity anytime shab-e-firaq. :)
There is MZ, Jan Leva, Mirch and yourself all big proponent of Islam, trying to make Pakistan an Islamic state and try to force people fear of God and be modestly dressed. Sure go ahead do that. But a wise one will never force any body to do that, because Islam didn't forced down anybody's throat atleast most of Prophet (pbuh) life. So you can pity me all you want, but its not going to happen.
I am a securalist because I hate individuals like you that think be-hayai, be-sharmi or erotica are in Pakistan society, do you yourself look in your own gribaan to see how good muslim are you. Do you look everyday in the mirror and are sure you are going to jannat because Allah will so please with you. Atleast I don't call fellow muslims with all this derogratory words. So think of me with pity and slant all muslim men and women who didn't try to get to your muslim standards. :)
Re: bay hayie...kuch kuch ziyada hi hai
Wisey's attach on firaq just highlights the opposite side of the various kinds of extremist ideologies that exist in this world. I have no respect for the religious nut cases or the secular fundamentalists... both are equally condemnable for their narrow mindedness and extremist views.
"i can't believe there are still people like you in this world" owaaain owaaain owaaainnnn
maar do phir? crying and whining khatam ho tum logon ki... so much for secularism...
"I hate people like you" owaaain owaaain owaaainnnn
Edit:
Just read your post... I never said make pakistan an islamic state. Let's stay focused.
Re: bay hayie...kuch kuch ziyada hi hai
wiseman your are so full in your own head that you dont even understand the question it is pointing more towards the open behavior that has been appriciated in pak in the past few years nothing there is mentioned about religion it actuely has nothing to do with religion so app nay kahan say islam ko beech main lay ayie but from your reply sweetheart i think you are in any mood to see the picture i was trying to show so i will leave it at that ....but i you can plz read the thread again and tell me where you see anything mentioned about religion thanks
The problem with pakistan is that it is a country founded on religion. In that situation, where religion plays such a central role, you have to understand that religion resides within ppl, as in a person may be conservative or very liberal, or may just be muslim in name and not in deed. This causes tons of problems because everyone follows religion to a different degree and everyone has THE RIGHT TO DO SO. So really, it is the public that creates the state. If all of pakistan followed Islam to the same degree, these issues would not arise. But because wer are not, they do. Dont blame modernity. It is inescapable, and we have to learn to deal with it. It is not only the fault of the skimpy clothed girls, it is the problem of the shopkeeper selling them, the friends and relatives and parents that allow them to wear it, the clubs that allow it, the bystanders who just shake their heads. If we are an islamic country whose laws are influenced by the Quran, then we really cannot call ourselves a free country because thwie will be countless ppl who are just muslim in name and cannot and will not abide by the laws. The main point is either we should be an Islmaic country where all this is illegal and where those who go against teachings should e punished by the law, or we should be a free country sho just happens to be muslim, where such practices are frowned upon but allowed. In the latter, we all have our freedoms. Give the conservative muslims their comfort and create spaces where liberals can be liberals. Where the two meet, their should be a comrmise. Coonservatives, dont let it affect you, liberals te same. That way well have less of these reandom ppl on the streets trying to oush their dress code and behaviour on others. We should strive in the end to become a complete ummah, where such behaviour is not even thought of. Teach your children to be gus muslims and this will not happen. For those who dont care, you are equally pakistani the law should allow you your freedom. I know the main post doesnt mention law but when it comes to dress code their are men who like to make u wear hijab and bother you fir it....you should be punished by the law. Sorry for the rant.
Re: bay hayie...kuch kuch ziyada hi hai
Don't go there, go somewhere else, end of the story. We living in UK don't go to the beaches with naked people or (in immodest beachwear).
Re: bay hayie...kuch kuch ziyada hi hai
Btw didn't know that people have started wearing bikinis and mini skirts in fortress.

I saw all these styles in my college back in 2002.....nothing new. Even I was one of them but alhamdulilah I changed my dress code after coming to the UK.
