there's no issue in day dreaming...
during the past few months i have been posting about the issues people of this area have been facing due to record load shedding and gas shortages (especially due to closage of faisalabad's industry). This was a pro PPP area in central punjab, but the government have lost it.

Re: Battle for Lahore.
Imran is not a hypocrite. He acknowledges mistakes of his past and has moved on.. …unlike Benazir the hypocrite, who used to throw beer and alcohol parties, romp naked on her birthday, and have endless affairs, only to don a white dupatta after marrriage, go to a couple of mazars, and pretend to be a lifelong angel. And dont even get me started on Zardari and Bilawal.

Imran is the most bad character man with a dirty past , You carry on supporting him , I have no objection

Re: Battle for Lahore.
If pmln solely wants to depend upon electables now, it means they have lost popularity. I believe they are even willing to take sheikh Rashid back as well.
Re: Battle for Lahore.
Imran’s past is not a part of his political life. Elections are meant to elect a clean and effective leader, not the imam of a masjid. Learn to separate personal life from politics, because if personal life were to be a factor, then like I mentioned before, Benazir has a very filthy history, which I dont care to cite, because it was pre-politics.

I have said i before and i will say it again PTI will win from Lahore

Imran looks good with Sheikh Rasheed even with Altaf Hussain

Re: Battle for Lahore.
^ sheikh Rashids only problem is his tongue, otherwise there's no allegation on him regarding corruption. He had as much role in Lal masjid operation like other musharrafs allies who are all in pmln now.

According tyo IK, Noon League has already invited Sheikh Rashid for joining.
Re: Battle for Lahore.
PMLN has started construction work on all major roads of Lahore, if the government calls off the elections a little bit early...it would be interesting to see the results of Lahore :D
Re: Battle for Lahore.
^^ Many journalists have confirmed that PMLN wants elections to be delayed to ensure these projects are completed sa part of secret negotiations with PPP.

At the moment PML N is enjoying a big popularity surge. People have started believing that if PMLN comes to power they will solve Punjab problems specially related to energy crisis. Army has also started signaling their favor for next PMLN led government. I don't think PMLN will be interested in delaying elections to lose on their present popularity surge.
PTI on the other hand is rapidly coming down after a popularity surge last year-early this year. They have lost big time in their strategy by not posturing against terrorism. Moreover they left criticism of Zardari led PPP government exclusively for PMLN. Their newly found love for Altaf Hussain also did not go well with a lot of people. Boycotting all the bye elections proved a disaster for their political strategy. Moreover army is fed up of their criticism for military initiative against terrorists specially when they are being attacked on dialy basis. They have lost their initiative in KPK also. If the elections are held today probably they are not in a position to win more than 10-15 seats.
If elections don't get delayed.. PMLN is all set to lead the next coalition government with 100/+ seats.
Re: Battle for Lahore.
^ I agree with what ever you have written, media has played a big part in reversing the trend.
anyways if the people believe that pmln can solve the problems of Punjab, they should think of their score card during the past five years. Id put them slightly better than the federal government.Secondly I'd give all credit to pmln to be posing anti PPP while helping them out in all difficult times. They have successfully played both sides of the fence. Anyways I personally think any pmln government would get unpopular early as compared to the current regime.
Re: Battle for Lahore.
PTI will be lucky to get 10 to 15 seats around the Pakistan.

The biggest problem in Punjab today is energy. Law and order and governance is better than rest of Pakistan. People have started believing that if they vote for PTI, it will benefit PPP. This is my opinion about the reason of present upsurge in popularity of PMLN. There is no doubt that people actually believe that PMLN will solve the energy crisis in Punjab. Their interpretation of 19th amendment is that the right of provinces on resources was for the future discovered resources. So if they are voted to power they will immediately stop inequitable load shedding for gas and electricity.
I agree with you that PPP could not have completed their tenure without PMLN's secret support which was given at the expense of people of Punjab. I don't think masses understand all this.
Zardari who led PPP for last 5 years have proven that he is a master politician. Where he has lost big time is the fact that eventually a political party derives it's power base from the people. Altaf may be a very irritating personality who has merged the concept of politics with criminality like no one else in the history of Pakistan. He survives in spite of his short comings just because somehow his power base amongst his constituents in in tact. Zardari on the other hand has lost public support and typical PPP power base amongst the poorest in the country..
