I saw the trailer and it looks great. Batman fans, looks like we finally have a good Batman movie. It’s looks edgier than any of the previous episode, the car looks gwwweeaat!

He was hot hot hot is American Psycho, but as batman...i dont know. The trailer does look really good though, is Katie Holmes in it? and the car does look somewhat pretty

It looks much better than the Michael Keaton versions. It looks more darker and serious. Should be good to watch.

Pretty!!! PRETTY!!!
THAT CAR IS NOT PRETTY! It’s looks like a armored car. It’s angular, solidly built and by no stretch of the imaginaiton it’s pretty! It’s ugly, a street car version of a humvee.
The word that describes the car, the hefty bat suit, and the overall feel of the movie is rugged.
The cast is top notch: Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman, Michael Kane (sp?), Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai) as Batsman’s mentor.
I just can’t wait…

Hmm The Keaton ones were exceptionally dark mehnaz?..I mean they were directed by Tim Burton ..and Burton is incapable of making a normal (untwisted movie)

Just a slight correction
Batman’s mentor is Liam Neeson, and Ken watanabe is the villain Ras’ al Ghul.
On a whole, the movie looks very promising.It’s on my “movies to watch at a cinema” list along with War of the Worlds.

Christian Bale is just so damn cool. The more I see the trailers, the more I realize how perfect he is for the role. Toby Maguire has always been a good actor, but not many people knew him before Spiderman. I hope it does the same for Bale's career. I will check out another movie of his soon, by the name "The Machinist". Anyone checked it out yet? He lost 60 pounds for the movie in two or three months I think.

I so totally agree. No one could be more perfect as batman than Bale. Previous actors did little justice to this superhero. I am so looking forward to watching the movie.

Game, Could not agree with you more.
Ironically, I saw Bale first in the Machinist and was just amazed at what he did himself for that movie. Mind boggling, living on an apple and a can of tuna a day to lose all that weight. The movie on a whole was pretty good too.
Then I saw him in American Psycho, wow, he definitely is an under-rated actor.Hopefully Batman's gonna change that all now.

Chrsitian Bale is a really good actor. I agree with tnc about that Machinist thing. Thats called living in a character. I have seen him in three movies and his acting just keeps getting better and better.
Regarding this movie, oh well. Lets see.

This new Batman flick looks fking amazing. The reviews I have read in the NYtimes and WSJ and FT, all are raving about Bale and the director’s vision for this film. I cannot wait to see this. I rarely post in this section because it is usually about Bollywood but I am going to do more now. Seems like fundos don’t watch movies so there are less of them here. :k:

the reviewers are saying it is not cartoonish like the other Batman flicks. It should be dark and creepy if it is from the Momento director.
