Hiya
Just ordered my new bathroom suite…apparently as we are getting 65% discount…we can upgrade our bath tub to a turbo spa bath (whirlpool style) for just a few hundered quid…rather than double the price like it is usually..
does anyone have one? are they any good? do you need any extra special equipment for it? apparently the man at Wickes told me you dont need anything extra…
need to upgrade order by eob today…any advice from anyone?

Good choice TabuB, i would recommend u go for it! I really wanted one fitted before we moved into our new home but the price was wayy too high! (out of our budget) But gettin a 65% discount sounds a great deal not to be missed!
I'm sure u won't need any extra equipment, everything is fitted in.

Our home came pre-fitted with one. Go for it. At the end of a tiring day nothing good than this .

No you don't need anything extra. We have one for two people but honestly I have used it once. The kids use it for bubbles baths and splashing around but we just never get the time to use it.
Once a month - make sure you clean the jets.

We installed a whirlpool jacuzzi a few years back. We've all probably used it once or twice and no one ever uses it anymore. It was such a waste of money because I think we paid full price or close to full price.
You'll also have to do a little more bathtub cleaning than a regular tub because of the jets. Gotta take a toothbrush to those sometimes.

Be careful of limescale...unless you live in a soft water area or have a water softener.
