i was watching the Pakistani Cooking Show “Manpasand” and one thing drew my attention when i saw the host proudly using a half used bathroom tissues. haha…she took out the roll, got a few sheets and wiped her hands then she took some more and used it as pot-holder. lol…hehe
****my question is:have you ever used / do you ever use any any ‘unconventional’ things in the kitchen?
i sometimes used old shirt as an apron. i tied it’s sleeves in the back…i did this to amuse my little niece. sometimes i usetea-cozy as a chef’s cap
What is next using a diaper as tea cosy ? For those who do not know what a tea cosy is it is a thick teapot cover used to keep tea warm/hot for longer period of time.
hahaha…may be unused diapers as pot holders…hahaha
once i saw one lil girl put a unused ;)] diaper around his dad’s head on "father’s day’ and gave him a bell and said…you’ll be pampered all day today…it’s your day so if you need anything, just ring the bell! … cute na?
**
dood use of PAMPER as a noun and as a verb by the lil kid…she can become a teacher! :)**
we live in a recycled world, who knows that kitchen rolls being used in kitchen are a recycled product of some toilet rolls :)
what you meant by half used toilet roll, that she took it from the toilet? come on man.........
try to understand the fact that how many people in Pakistan actually use toilet roll for the real purpose? For most of them, toilet roll is just another form of tissue.
funny side of it. when sitting with my desi friends, some times i call goras "toilet roll wali qaum" :D
as far as getting job done with some thing unconventional thing is concerned, why not if you dont have any other alternative?
