is bat sign of (nahusat,manhusiat urdu words) or something…?

usually bats never seen in urban area houses atleast i never saw or heard about it
recently a bad came into my aunty house from no where at night and no she thinks its bad omen???

is that true???

Bats are "creatures of the night". Dark nights are also associated with ghosts and spirits. Hence, the association of bats with something evil. In scary movies, they usually show bats flying around the place at night to create a spooky environment.

There is nothing more to it. Bats are creatures of Allah swt and I don't believe anything created by Him can be a bad omen.

Batman didnt think they were a bad omen. Don't hate on the bats...they need some love too :(

Okay seriously, they're not a bad omen imo. It's just like saying a black cat is a bad omen....it's all superstition.

This is pure jahalat please don't pay any heed to such myths. Bats are protectd species and you're not suppose to kill them or harm them, there are bats flying around in my backyard all the time at night and this idea of them being bad omen never came to my mind.

I recall 14 years ago some idiots killing a beautiful owl back in our village thinking it's munhoos.

let me tell you something which will prove that they are not a bad omen.

if your go to Mecca/ Kaba from magrib to dawn you will see loads of bats flying above the kaba. if they are a bad omen , trust me, they wouldnt be there then.

i dont get why we think animals are bad omens. A LOT of people say that if you say the word '' PIG'' your tongue will get burnt or some nonsense like that. Well the word pig is mentioned many many times in the Quran, doesnt not mean your tongue will keep burning everytime your read it.
we need to get these cultural myths out of our minds.

He was only trying to answer your question. Regardless of whether they are bats or not I seriously doubt bats are a bad omen. Actually come to think of it…is anything a “bad omen” :hmmm:

Bats are fine, I’ll only try and avoid the bloodsucking type though… that is a bad omen if ever there was one… you dont want to wake up with blood drippng out of twenty holes do you. :hehe:

I will respect all creatures even the ones I hunt.

I’m not the superstitous tyep but i’ll be cautious for all legends, even the most far fetched do have some bases on fact.

I dont think bats are any more manhoos than some people though. :cb:

And since i’ve spared many a Manhoos admee in my life bat’s are spared so long as they spare me. :snooty:
