Peace?
Now there is a novel concept. Not a cool as worldwide violent Jihad, but cool.
So if there is a comprehensive peace with Israel, does that take the wind out of the global rational to fight with the West?
The cross border support for freedom struggle will have to continue as long as the local population bears the brunt of state terrorism. In the absence of a comprehensive solution that will ensure proper rights of local population there is no choice. The real choice is to ensure the rights of people, stop state terrorism and negotiate a lasting peace agreement, which is acceptable to all parties involved. Once such a peace agreement is in place, the need to support cross border freedom struggle will also die its natural death.
but the government elected by Palestine has in its charter the annihilation of the state of Israel. Would they drop that stance with their own state? Would a 2 state solution be acceptable to them?
And while we moan and groan about state terrorism, in reality it was in response to incessant terrorist acts against Israel since day one. So in addition to Israel stopping its oppressive actions, it must stop from all sides.
What is being dubbed, as violent Jihad is actually a just struggle against global crusade for worldwide domination in disguise of overt reasons? Once west learns that it no longer hold power to dominate the Islamic civilization, neither is Islamic civilization any longer willing to accept western domination, the better off for the entire world.
At the dawn of this new reality the west must learn how to live as equal partners with the rest of the world and earnestly resolve political problems based on justice for all and not on western self-interest. The western double standards will run counter to even western interests in long run.
Winds of change are once again blowing throughout the lands of Islam. These winds are violent and they are tearing apart the social, political and economic orders that had come into existence through the emergence of independent Muslim states around the middle of the previous century. What would be the shape of the Muslim world in coming years from now remains an open question, but the emerging pattern indicates that Islamic civilization is at the verge of a historical process that would result in the emergence of a new Islamic civilization? We can already see the initial casting of a global Islamic civilization. This process is taking place at several levels, but all of these simultaneous processes have Islam as their central focal point. To some, this assessment of our times may seem quixotic, even a mere figment of imagination, but if one were to compare the present time with the previous historical processes that gave birth to new social and political orders, one can find enough evidence in support of the inference that a new global civilization of Islam is slowly emerging.
West must not confront this change or try to delay it, but for the good of its own and that of the entire planet it should become equal partner with the Global Islamic civilization, together we can serve the entire humanity.
Electing Hamas is the result of not seeing light at the end of the tunnel by the Palestinian people. If Zionists will agree to a comprehensive peace treaty then larger Islamic community will step in to change the Palestinian stance, since the problem is not limited to Palestinian people only, the question of Jerusalem touches heart of the entire Ummah.
One can also argue that resistance struggle against the Zionists occur because of state terrorism and oppression to begin with, this is a classic chicken or the egg first scenario. Once the peace treaty is agreed then violence from all sides must stop.
