since we're also discussing lota and toilet paper as well..... its better to use paper first then lota and then paper afterwards. Just my 2 cents.. this way your hands wont get as dirty as it would without the papers.. cant believe im sayin this .....sighs

Canada i feel is filled with similar people, When i was in U.k my friends went out in late night parties got drunk and spread where ever they found the spot and came to school the next day and i thought that was filthy but no Canada is much worse i have seen people not flushing their toilets for weeks and week and the water turns brown and smells so much. so many people dont wash after using the rest room and while they are inside so many dont even bother using the toilet paper if they urinate (forget about using water) and at that same time they eat something YUKH! my sisters friend doesnt brush ever, she just has coke in the morning eats and comes - half of the people in my school be it desis or whites had bad breath. Some girls are so bad that they leave their red spots on the flush seats and also some of them urinate on the seats. My friends sister never bathes nor brush her teeth it seems like, she is chatting the whole day non stop and doesn't brush or do anything, just chats and eats where she is.
While it took me at least an hour to get ready i.e. even when i didn't use makeup these people just come as it is.

this made me remember ... at my college... there are these 2 washrooms for both genders.. i never been there before but recently when i went in there...(since it was closer to my class)...it seemed as if some girl had her period .... the toilet seat was filled with red spots... and some toilet papers lying around with blood... YuCk !!!( i've never seen this before , since i dont have any sister..and even if i had...she wudnt leave washroom without cleaning her stuff... )... it was sooo disgusting... i didnt urninate there...(considering i could have by closing my eyes and in a standing position).. that girl ,whoever she was...needed to realize that the washroom she was using is accessible to guys too....whatever business she had to do...she shud have gone to female washroom instead... that was just soooo gross to even look at it... I never ever went to these 2 washrooms again !!...i would rather tolerate the smell in male washrooms than look at the red spots on toilet seat and toilet paper filled with bloodd... Pathetic , to say the least.
PS: dont blame canada for it .... it's like that almost everywhere... or where ever filthy ppl are residing.

^^i cant understand whats so hard about washing your hands!! it disgusts me to no extent. my family and inlaws think i have ocd because i wash my hands before everything and i cant rest until i have brushed, showered and worn clean clothes. maybe i tend to be extreme sometimes but i just refuse to eat at ppl's homes with long nails or with pets. one time, while visiting a friend of my cousin's, this girl was carrying around her black cat then put her down and started cutting mangos.. i almost gagged. who knows where the cat had been- they can walk around rooms, toilets, anywhere. but most majorly, i hate using public bathrooms like FF said above. women just dont know how to clean up after themselves especially during their menses days. eeek.

I noticed when we lived in UK that B.O. was more of a problem than in the U.S. When my father was stationed overseas they used to joke about the poor hygiene practices of Europeans - apparently the French girls were beautiful but too dirty to...
I think that filthiness like skipping hand-washing is a newer phenomenon, and goes hand in hand with the loss of manners in general. When I was a girl you did NOT leave the house without being well groomed and you certainly never left a restroom without washing WITH soap. I am just as strict with my children.

True - most kitchen sinks are filled with more harmful bacteria than a typical toliet.

i agree amana.. kids have to learn these things at an early age to get used to.. if parents teach them how important it is to have cleaning habits then they wont ever forget it.

Lol for the question thats been asked of me...the girl in question told me she brought nothing with her...all she had was a handbag...and this is the same girl that hadnt been home in four days and said to me she'd been wearing the same clothes since the monday...

Teelobhain and FrozenFire...those are some nasty stories...in colombia they routinely brushed after every meal and people showered every morning without fail...lol we're supposed to be civilised in the west...can be so backward sometimes...

Cos i have no idea how are Pakistanis in Pakistan about their showering, washing hands etc?...
As iv already said...Colombia seems to be all good culturally in that respect...the ladies smelt good...they were clean...good breath...lovely teeth and they were well kempt...the people are vain but its good thing trust me...i actually used to think one of my work colleagues looked good before that fateful day lol...

Actually I could understand why pakis might nto be as vigilant abt it as much as Americans can be, simply b/c in a lot of homes, running water/ showering every single day etc is possibly a luxury....
But not in western countries, ppl are just filthy and disgusting.

Let me relate an incident you to guys. All of you are well aware that white people (many, not all) are notorious using the urinal and then just walking out without even washing their hands. Many a times i have witnessed this myself and with that thought in mind i now run to the bathroom to wash my hands everytime i shake hands with a white fella.
But this one incident i saw clearly takes the cake. I was driving from Toronto to Chicago few months ago and stopped halfway at some hick town in Michigan to fill up and empty out. Now the bathroom had two sinks, two urinals and two closed door stalls. I went into one of the stalls and did my business. While i was in there i could clearly hear sounds of grunting and discomfort in the next stall. It was obviously someone taking a dump. Anyway so i got done with my business quickly and went out to wash my hands. During that time i could hear ruffling sounds of toilet paper. While i was still busy cleaning up and washing my face (4 hour drive ahead) that white guy got out of the stall and just WALKED OUT!!! WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS!! OMFG PUKE PUKE PUKE PUKE
I finished washing my hands and face and walked out (luckily the main door to the bathrooms was wedged open). To make things even worse on my way to my car i noticed that same guy sitting in his truck sharing a burger with his female friend LOL!!!
So anyway all you pakis and indians who are so in love with white people and their hygeine, go stand in a public washroom someday for a couple hours and see how many of them actually wash their hands.
How 'bout a bit of class ; that 'F' DOES NOT NEED TO GO WITH GOD!!!
