Hi guys, Well I am not really into the South Asian Club scene down in the city so I need a little bit of help from fellow
New Yorkers. Has anybody heard of DJ Rekha of Basement Bhangra? Do you think she is worth a try in an academic setting which would primarily have a Non-South Asian audience?

There are so many DJs out there you can hardly keep up. You have DJs poping up left, right, and center. And personally, i really don’t know of many famous ones in downtown let alone the boroughs of NYC. Your better option is to go to an indian entertainment website, primarily with the content of music, and i am sure you’ll be able to find a link to some local DJs.
