Baseball 2005

Re: Baseball 2005

This has to be the most competitive year of Baseball season I've witnessed, I think in past 3 years where in both leagues, there isn't much a gap in division and wild card leads.

A.L. East and A.L West has been the best divisions by far whereas Wild card in both leagues have seen ups and downs among contenders.

I still think Yankees will wind up winning the A.L wild card. Can't rule out Indians though who aren't getting that much of love but A's have some good young potential that could carry them into the playoffs but I doubt it because of inexperience. Of all three teams, the A's have great bullpen. You just never know.

Angels are still my pick for A.L West, and it looks like Red Sox will win the A.L. East division. It's just too little too late for Yanks to catch'em. The pitching rotation is messed up.

As for National League, the wild card might come down to Marlins or Astros. Astros should win it but their offense that is hit and miss this season. Marlins, like Astros, have a great rotation and bullpen too, and they play hit and run ball game.

Much props for White Sox for such an unbelieveable season. I never saw that coming.

By the end of the season, we will have witnessed a great race for The Hunt of October.
