Re: Base application
You mean you got two face powders ? ... Quite simply , ,moisturize your face with lotion / cream etc ... then lightly pat the powder on your face using the sponge provided in the product packaging ...
I prefer face powder to foundation and use more of the facepowder in day to day life. Foundation hides bigger blemishes or unevenly toned skin. But if your skin is above average and even toned, then why not use the face powder instead .... Its not heavy on the skin.
Regards the skin suitability. In days when my skin become overtly dry, I try to avoid using face powder ... coz the powder absorbs every bit of oil on your skin and then it can start becoming flaky is you have a very oil skin ... If your skin is combination skin, use it lightly so it absorbs the teeny weeny oil production from the skin...
Re: Base application

Re: Base application
Cb i hv applied powder. but i feel like chalky on my face. can u tell me a liquid foundation which one light on the face plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Re: Base application
zaina , if it became chalky, either its because you have oily skin ,or you over moisturized your skin and then applied it …
anyways , I dont know much about cosmetics in pakistan … why dont you go to shaheens or watsons and try out different foundations … buy the one that you feel covers the blemishes ? ![]()
Re: Base application
If your make up is that old…you should probably throw it out. 3 - 4 years for bases and powders in Pakistan’s heat? ![]()
For application, the best method Ive come across is using a foundation brush…they’re the best and you only apply as much as you need.
Re: Base application

Re: Base application
Dont forget to prep and prime your skin before you start your makeup application. Wash your face (cleanse preferably) and then moisturize. I use a foundation brush to apply my primer first, and then concealer i use touche eclat by ysl although its an illuminator not a concealer but it works for me. After youre done, buff your skin with facepowder to fix your foundation. It wont budge now. :)
