well i don’t know wat it had to do with basaant. well if u go in such depth then i think there should be no sport in pakistan . no cricket team to whom we pay so much of money. no stadiums on which we lakhs of rupees.
its true that ppl spend a lot of money but the number of such ppl is few. n then again there r hundred of families out there who support themself by workin in this industry i mean makin kites n doors.
wat harm is it if money is transferred from rich to poors. if we ban it rich guys gona keep the revenue n tspend it somewhere else like go to india . i this case so many families will end up with no food on their tables.
plus we r such bad conditions then why do we have have all these fancy parades on aug 14 n other occasions.
have heard it all from my parents n others too but i c no harm in it.

Not really. This forum is not to enforce anyone’s personal views, rather it is to share info and opinions. The opinions expressed in this article are valid. Whether you or me agree with it is a different matter. You don’t. And thats fine. However, a difference of opinion is not an acceptable reason to delete anything.
And nothing has ever been deleted from these forums, because Admin/Mod didn’t agree to the opinion. The only stuff which is deleted/edited is that where the language used is considered inappropriate or abusive. In some cases, baseless propaganda material posted AGAINST PAKISTAN was deleted, because this website is, afterall, a Pakistani site. Those whose sole agenda is Pakistan-bashing can take it somewhere else.

nick! if we accept your theory then everything shud allowed in this world. for example use of drugs shud be allowed because many poor people earn by producing these. so i think some things are only waste of time and lives.
in regard to Basant we have to spend lot of money on these things and it is called Ghair Taamiry Akhrajaat and more over wut about when a poor guy is running after a kite and lost his life.

i don't know from where u came up with the idea of drugs. u cann't compare drugs with kites can u.
u didn't answer my ques. lets c u need to buy a 200 rupees worth of bat to play cricket. we lakh of rupees to built a cricket stadium n then buy 500-1000 rs worth of ticket to watch a game. the list goes on.
u r rite. the guys u run on roads to catch a kite but u cann't blame it on basaant. but again wat about those ppl who steal to buy a ticket for a cricket, hockey game. shouldn't we ban them too.
kite flying is real fun sport(dats wat i call it) but then u have to play it accordin to the unwritten rules. don't ask me wat they r. its just harmful . i don't from where some ppl get the idea that its a bad thing or its expensive. i call it a poor man sport coz its most popular among the poors n they actually can participate in it.
