Thanks Cheegum. Good Post. Very useful for me. I am not into hardware , I am into software. My friends and family need my help with their crashed or corroupted computers all the time. It will surely be a life saver for me and them.

PS: Just so you’d know there’s another “live” CD similar to BartPE called Hiren’s BootCD. It doesn’t let you build your own CD, its pre-built with all kinds of cool software. Here’s a list of all that’s on there:
