The financial world lost a star market guru July 14. he was skeptical of Tech stocks After 1997. But he did not see the 2008 financial crisis. Per WSJ July 17 he wrote in 2012 “we forget that Mr. Market is an ingenious sadistic and that he delight in torturing us in different ways”.

Barton Biggs was one of the market and stocks gurus. He was correct toy bearishness during Tech boom. One of the few who was not full of it.
