Now be honest when I ask , how many bartan you broke in 2010 … this includes glasses , plates, cups and yes it includes all those chips you caused to the cups and bowls 
I will be honest.. I broke 4 spoons last year and ruined the set

OMG...i broke so manyyyyy of them...its not that i'm clumsy or something, its simply because i do a lot of dishes late every night. i load the dishes after supper but a sink-full of bartan await my lovely massages with my magical hands at midnight. i wash then just b4 i go to bed. kinna sughaR huN na? ;)

I ruined two different sets by breaking a dinner plate from one and managing to break a bowl from the other one.... I also broke my favourite tea pot... :( found another one though..
Hubby breaks more stuff if I ask him to wash up... this way he knows for sure I wouldn't ask again :(

when he used to do dishes, he broke so many of my jahez ke kaanch ke glasses…

0, none, nada...oh wait no I did manage to break 2 plates and my son broke 1 glass :) I want to break my bartan...mein itna care se apni cheesain rakhti hoon ke they start getting on my nerves. I don't like giving old bartan away, I only dare giving out couple of dinner sets because I WANTED TO BUY NEW ONES...I have like 6-7 glass sets and damn things, from nice thin crystal ones to good quality glass, and none ever broke except one piece that my son broke last year, even when I got my stuffed shipped from north america to india only one plate chipped :( come on I want to buy new bartan...
Before anyone suggests 'NO I DON'T WANT TO BREAK MY BARTAN' I want them to be broken themselves or by others, borrowed asnd never returned etc :):):)

Dosa , I so understand the feeling :hinna: .. I have same issues .. got plates and cups from ages ago that I need to get rid of but I dont want to give them away or break them intentionally ..I just keep wishing they will break on their own and then i can throw them away without feeling guilty :hinna:
Funny thing is , I never manage to break the things that are prone to break , eg , plates and glasses … I manage to break spoons and forks , which i so need to save

I know :] I started collecting my kitchen stuff since early 2000 when I moved away from my parents house, at that time I used to think oh well I live by myself so the stuff doesn’t get used. But when I got married few years later, it was the same…
anyways no complains…and the thing is that for dinner sets etc I don’t buy matchy matchy ones, I always buy classy pieces that go togetherand I love white dinnerware, so have tons of white with accent pieces, depending on the mood, could be blue, green or yellow, or clear…may be we should open a thread with ideas for dinner table setting…

I think I just broke 2 glasses. And I dont even know how they broke, I was just loading them into the dishwasher and they broke
