Barley

I want to include barley in my diet. I'd love some delicious suggestions.
I don't like oat porridge so I think I can't eat barley porridge. Any other ideas would be great.

Haleem. Easy to make. Tasty to eat as lunch or snack.

try oatmeal, different than oat porridge. May be a different vendor may help. Taste may not be there but its healthy

I believe barley is called jau in Urdu. You can make jau ki roti, which I've heard turns out very soft. But, you'll have to mix the barley flour with wheat flour (aata) otherwise the rotiyan don't hold together as well. I've never made it though I had bought some barley flour with the intention to do so. Just never got around to it. You can look up recipes online.

There's a barley drink as well that my mom spoke of once. Barley is nutritious but it can also make you run for the bathroom....so go easy with it.

LP I just think porridge has like no taste at all. Simple oats dont have a taste either but thats why there are flavored oats in business.

The point is just add more taste to it. Otherwise it’ll be boring and you’ll give up
