Different types of pakorey? Palak, aloo, pyaz, gobhi, paneer, arvi key pattey, baingan, fish, mixed veg, can’t think of any more.

I love potato pakoras with a glass of either Rooh Afzah or cloudy lemonade. Got to have ketchup and chutney too.

not only pakoray , but kachorian , allo bharay parathay , they have some kind of connection with barish. I guess it has to do with rural/agro based culture where barish is a celebration because , the kisaan and land owners pray for barish as it is good for sowing and growing of their harvest and when it rains they want to celebrate.

I never understood this either, but its a strange association. I think of soup, and comfort food when its raining. Perhaps pakoray are a desi comfort food?
