NOT just namak…iskaa ek masaala bhii aayaa kartaa thaa magar mostly salt N ground black pepper with neemboo :slight_smile: yummy!

you can do tht urself...we do tht when we hv bbq parties...after the foods cooked...we put in corn and sweet potatoes.

mere area meN to ek aur bhii hai bahot maqbool...it's called beRhnii locally but it's like masaaledaar daal bharii fried thicker chapaatiyaaN...jo ham log aam, qeema aur dahii vaghaira ke saath baRe chaao se khaayaa karte the...abhii bhii ham jab jab India jaate haiN to ek din koii na koii bil-zaroor "beRhnii lunch" karvaataa hai. :) it's really deliciouso!!! :)

first chapaatii is made n tawaa…thicker chapaatis that is and then daal is filled and then fried on pan…traditionally beRhii is huge so you need a big tawaa and a big pan…aag par banii ziyaada bahtar hotii hai…chuN k Canada men ziyaada tar * electric stoes use hote haiN is liye uskaa filament tawa ko cover nahiiN kar paataa is liye maze kaa nahiiN bantaa…it can be made on commercial grills that they use in desi restaurants to make dosas.*
