It would depend since I barely got anything but to the list I would add Purses/clutches, perfumes, cosmetics, bangles, some good shawls.

nothing except clothes and shoes for my bari. Plus the gold jewellery for my walima

My in-laws are doing it a bit differently. They have bought my wedding and mehndi dress, matching shoes, jewellery and clutch. They have also bought a few other complete outfits with shoes and jewellery but want me to choose my own things when hubby and I reach Pakistan to make sure I like everything. However, SIL has mentioned that this will include everything from clothes to shoes, jewellery, cosmetics and perfume. I have always assumed that Bari contains all of these items, not just clothes.

Besides clothes, jewellery, make-up, shoes, bags, shawls and perfumes, some people also give undergarments in bari

plz someone tells me what is Bari?? im not pakistani so i dont know that much im bahraini and im going to get married with a pakistani punjabi. i dont know what we should give them and what they should give us coz in bahrain we dont give only the groom side they give the bride... plz help especially the punjabi hes from lahor and living in UAE.(gold dresses and etc....) and ya we dont give jaheeez to groom its haram im asking about the gifts

I think it varies from family to family. Clothes, shoes, jewellery and clutches seem to be the minimum.
