Re: Bargello trustworthy?
No don’t do it! Please do NOT buy from Bargello or Needlehole… I had a horrible experience buying from them last year and will never buy from them or any online shop for that matter!
What you see in the pictures online or even when they email you updates on your order and send you actual pictures of the work supposedly being done… does NOT adequately reflect the end product when you actually get it, whenever that may be.
You need to tell them that it should be delivered months in advance or else it will be late… if your wedding is in August tell them it is in JUNE!!!
And they charge way too much for each item as the prices were totally inflated and they don’t budge on the prices like they are fixed regardless of the changes or alterations… the price will only go up not down. And shipping was waay tooo much and do not include the duty and taxes that you have to pay to receive shipment delivery.
I actually think that some of the items were made or being sold or were already in the USA but they charged me shipping from all they way from Karachi.
The grooms khulla hat and khussa shoes arrived a week AFTER the wedding. And the hat was child size and not made well at all because they used BLACK thread that showed up through the WHITE fabric and the BROWN cardboard showed right through the thin frayed fabric that had unfinished hems… it was literally left as torn edges. They were the one’s who pushed a specific type of more expensive fabric saying that what was originally decided would look cheap!!!
Don’t get me started on the shoes… nothing like the pictures!
The groom’s father’s suit was waaaay toooo expensive for something so plain and without work.
The brides clothes smelled gross and had stains from the ink they use to mark out designs and they kept saying that no one could see it.
They kept pushing me into buying other things which we refused thank God!
Bargello started doing so bad that they re-invented themselves as Needlehole, although they will deny it of course… they troll paklinks too! And are highly defensive about everything and do NOT give refunds no matter what…
I have learned my lesson and now only go through in-person shopping by either having a trusted and tested means… like relatives in Pakistan making and sending clothes or go through a local store that makes clothes in Pakistan or one of those ladies that sell clothes made in Pakistan from there homes… I feel like these options are less risky that handing over full credit card payments via PayPal to shops like Bargello and Needlehole.
