any of you shopped online?..i had a chat with the manager of bargello they are in Karachi PK, muslim family and there prices are reasonable too…they want me to order now and talk over the phone and then come to PK in Feb 07 to view the bridal dress and then give the rest of the money…
problem is im going India instead of PK…in Feb…
then i came across homeindia.com…they have bollywood outfits but are sooooooooo cheap, makes me wonder y r they so DAMN cheap…there work might not be good nuf…so what i can do is order with THEM online and then by the time in Feb…go India and see what they have done have it fitted and bring it bak to UK where im gona be gettin married inshallah…
have any of you guys ever shopped online?..i have never done it…trouble is i dont c a problem in it u c…as long as ur order is in detail and they understand it…what can be the worst?..

All the designs on their website have been ripped off from prominent designers in Pakistan...even I recognise the designs and who they actually belong too.
There is actually a thread concerning Bargello here somewhere and those who have dealt with them but you'll have to perform a search.
All in all, people have said that they use cheap and shoddy materials in a bid to produce replicas that bearly look like the originals. Plus their customer service is very poor and the people I've heard are rude.
If you are going to India then just shop at Season's India, Sheetal, Manish Malhotra and Benzer!! You will not go home empty handed they are really awesome places and very perfessional. I have outifts from all those places and they are very fabulous =) Most of these stores have backrooms for people spending over a certain amount, so if you want to check those outfits out you need to make sure you let them know ur limit is not below 2,000 U.S. dollars =) They will not take you to the back room if you a certain price limit they will only show you items of that limit=) But those outfits are really nice too.
Oh and Benzer is a store which will mail you your clothing at home or where ever you want perfectely fitted and with no charge!! I think alot of the boutiques in India are trustworthy that they will take your measurments and mail you your items wherever you need them. On Time as well!
I found bargello - to have better quality then anyone of these online shops. The Customer Service does suck so you have to be on top of them to make sure you get your clothes in time. I work with a guy names Khawar and he has never been rude to me or my mom or A - we've all gotten clothes from them.
As for the designs being fake - well how many times do we go to Pakistan and actually buy a Maria B outfit? One or two maybe - then we do the same - we go to the magazines and tell the master ji down in liberty to copy it for us. Nahee?
Bargello again copies from all the designers...and YOU do end up paying the DESIGNER prices for them....Its always better to shop from the real place. Maria B for example has exemplery delivery record...The only designer with Industrial scale back up to them...Again if you are paying for a PRADA...better be a PRADA then a PRODA....:) ...

ye but still you should buy real ones, it doesnt feel good when you are wearing a fake nike or versace.
and the prices on bargello are way to high for fake cloths, you can just put in a few extra bucks and get the real thing.
hey guyz, i didn't know abt homeindia, i liked the bollywood outfits they have, and they r cheap too, Bargello is too expensive....is there another good website for bridal wear??
