I can’t believe it i was on bargello the other day saw this kaftan and thought i recognized it from somewhere

this is for the SAME dress. How can this be? I know some sites are a rip off and you can get a dress cheaper but this is ridiculous. I really feel bad for the people who bought this dress from bargello.

Yes, Bargello is quite expensive! They were extremely popular a few years ago as one of the only online shops for buying lehengas, suits, etc.

I doubt the pic is even owned by bargello, i think they took it from this other website.

I saw another group and they had done exactly the same, ripped off a rupali picture and were charging 4 times the price, sumbody pointed this out and the lady running the page came back with some crap about how she was using pure material , hand work blah blah blah, daaaaaam cheek!

I've always wondered about Bargello that who buys from them!!!! Some photos they used are the runway photos of the designer dresses. Why don't they post photos of the dresses they actually made? I guess that will not help to rip off that's why :D

Join the club. My experience with Bargello has been ok but prices are way too much. I do know that they run multiple websites and seems to be that dress replublic is owned by them too. So far my experience with Merishopping has been fantastic.

i am glad i came across this thread. i thought bargello was reliable from reading their testimonials. however the testimonials seem to have the same tone and theme which makes me wonder whether they are fabricated?!!
please recommend reliable vendors who keep in contact and deliver what they promise?

They have a shop in chicago on Devon, I visited them early last year when I was getting married. They are expensive and the quality of fabric and kaam was pretty low for what they were asking for. I ended up buying my dress from another boutique and got a better dress.
