Seriously - I think somone needs to go to yahoo / google groups and post something about them. Bargello makes SOOOOOOOOOOOO much money ripping customers off like us - the pictures are NOTHING like what they send.
I feel so bad for you - Aashi - I hope you put all of this in the back of your mind and Enjoy your wedding regardless.
I had aweful expereinces with them and wasted a ton load of money - but I don't go to pakistan very frequently so I have to rely on online shopping.

maaannn there are awful stories everywhere! the sad part is that companies work real hard to get a good name and once they establish that they dont wanna care for customers anymore.

i remember i had my cousin's wedding back in 2004 so me and my younger sis carried out extensive research on online Pakistani designers who are offering online services to their customers. As i live
here in US i couldnt make a trip to pakistan and do all the things physically.. so i found bargello and i, after consulting with my parents and big bro, give order to them... as i am quite skeptic in nature so i
asked them to provide some of there satisfied customers' information to whom i can ask about bargello's services and all the things....so they provided me one of their customers' landline number who
lives near me (not so near by the way, i took 1 hour to get to her)... i checked the quality myself which was not bad and just ok i must say and i decided to order from them as their customers are in front of
me and they seemed quite satisfied which helps me to overcome my fear for the victim of fraud (you guys dont know my mother, she is very strict in the use of money)...
and after 3 and half weeks approx. We (me and my sis) both receive our respective order and we were delighted to see it although there is a slight difference of color in my order... i attended the wedding
ceremony of my cousin and it turns out to be a wonderful experience as everyone commended me and my sis on our looks and dress...lol ;)
My 3 cousins also asked about the place from where i got them and i said i got them via internet from a pakistani designer based in karachi...and they were like :| why you took a risk to buy from internet
and specially from a pakistani website, anyways i gave them link and after 2 years in our another cousin's wedding after eid, we (me, my sis and my 2 cousins) decided to have a big order with
bargello.com which includes not only our eid dresses but dresses for the occassion as well...
Then time came when we receive our order and it turned out to be an excellent one, quite better than the old one which me and my sis previously received... embroidery quality was much improved and
color were not exactly the same but there was apparently no difference between the color in original picture on website and what i received. i was quite amazed to see the embroidery quality and all the
stuff...
Then most important event of my life, my marriage, came and me and my fiance decided to do shoping with each other's consent :), so me and my fiance both decided to make a trip to pakistan for
shoping. I already decided to do my shoping with bargello.com as i had wonderful experiences with them and i want my wedding occassion to be special one. As we both decided to do shoping together
so i adviced him to check out the Sherwani Collection of Bargello as one of their customer service representative really pushed me hard to urge my fiance to check out sherwani collection which they had
recently added on their website. So me and my fiance went to bargello and they shown us some really good sherwaniz and my hubby chose one with white color. and i also chose 2 ghararas and 5 dresses
including my sister's dresses for the occassion. We stayed 4 days in Pakistan and took off again to US. after after approx 6 weeks we received our order and i remember how happy i was to see my dresses.
i called them back to say Thanks and decided to go to my susraal to give a surprise to my hubby by showing him his sherwani which he awaited desperately as he was not sure whether it will turn out to
be the same. My hubby was the happiest person i guess at that time when he saw his sherwani and everyone love it.
And My wedding turned out to be one of the most wonderful experience i have had in my life. everyone commended me on my make-up on my dress and i was very pleased that ALLAH has done all the
things right for me on my special day.
So with this long story i want to make a point that i have a wonderful experience with bargello and each time i order i get more pleased as they are constantly improving their quality, price and collection.
Bargello was just just OK when i ordered with them first time back in 2004, and i paid heavy price but what i received was not as good as price. but subsequent orders made it evident that they thought
seriously on their pricing policy and quality and now they are charging much less than past.
I want to advice all the people out there, firstly whomsoever you are ordering with, whether its bargello or someone else, first ask to them about their satisfied customers' contact info so that you can talk
to them and feel free to order online. this practice must be adopted to make a hedge against risk of fraud.
So fellazz here is the whole experience of mine with bargello.com

First of all, Aashi, I'm truly sorry that you had to be put through all this! It's terrible!
No offense, but I find it weird that someone with such bad grammar still managed to know what deplorable meant....seems to me like Rehanamalik is trying very hard to prove she isn't from Pakistan.
and what kind of "reputable" place gives out their client's phone number?
I still would'nt touch Barjello with a barge pole, there are enough reputable individuals on this forum that can have any design made at a customers request, and judging from the feedback from all the satisfied customers i would rather put my money in thier hands than a Barjello any day!

I always go to their website to check clothes out... love the stuff they post even though it is right out of the bridal magazines... thank gudness I havent ordered anything yet.

the one that i think is the best is this girl on facebook. shez new prolly thats why she is doing her job so well. the clothes are amazingly low priced and the work n stitchin is the exact replica of famous deigners. i aint going to any high priced stupid designer now when i can get the exact thing in price three four times less.. u should also check out the group on facebook. Ridiculous experience.
Ordered three sherwanis (each more then 300 dollars) and some matching dupatta things for the sherwanis (each 40 bucks) for some cousins for another cousins wedding.
They came.
In a 1 foot by 1 foot Dhl box. Horribly crushed. Can you imagine all the items listed above in a tiny box like this? Some embroidery was also falling off! I felt bad. I took the three sherwanis to a tailor and then dry cleaners (because htey were SO chur muri) which cost me and additional 75 bucks. I really was upset because these kids were looking forward to the clothes.
Also, the duppats they sent were the wrong color and texture. I asked them to send me new ones and they said that I have to send the old ones back in a specific packaging (which will cost me another 50 bucks) and once they recieve it, they will send the correct one back. Also if I wanted an express deliverying i'd have to pay an ADDITIONAL 25 dollars for that.
Hell no. Never again.
